I thought the most played list doesn’t update until Tuesday. Anyways, its funny that Ponies were trying to use the xbox store not updating as a source of the game not being popular on xbox

Man actually meeting Serebii online was such a disappointment to me. I visited serebii.net religiously while I was younger, and then actually interacting with him on otherera some years ago ruined those memories for me lol.

It’s over 1.5m now. What happened this morning? I think it was only around 900k when I woke up a few hours ago.
Besides, if there is market demand for Pokemon on PC and Xbox and Nintendo are not capitalizing on it, they have only themselves to blame.

There’s definitely a demand as the Pokémon mods show, but Pokémon is a system seller. There is seemingly no reason for Nintendo to port them over.
Not to mention, Palworld will likely make it to Switch 2 and PS5 once it’s out of early access.
Tbh I’d never really heard of Palworld until a couple days ago. Seeing some of the bizarre reactions to it and genuinely wondering, what has got people so twisted about this game? Is it Pokemon fans mad at another game intruding on their “turf”? Is it that it’s not on PS5?

Both it seems, from what I can discern from post made here.
Both are considered high treason level offences within certain gaming communities and/or media circles. They tried to bury the game with silence (also, it was a beta launching on Steam and Game Pass like many others), but it exploded anyway.

The point, it’s Nintendo’s choice they don’t want to serve Xbox and PC players. Can’t get angry when someone else steps in and takes ideas from Pokemon and successfully packages them in another game.

The game just blew up and that’s it. Honestly, I did not see this coming at all. If I were to tell you from two years ago, you would laugh at me.

According to someone from RPGsite I follow, one of the composers from Mana retweeted a day 1 GP tweet.
That said if it’s a mistake then it’s pretty funny they keep “flubbing” with Square stuff (Octopath 2 initially saying day 1 GP, FFXIV “available now”, Mana saying day 1 GP)

I doubt it’s a coincidence so many pr mistakes happen between Xbox and SE, I guess they are directly related to the rocky relationships between them (or lack of). It wasn’t much time ago when SE higher-ups decided to cancel support for Xbox almost completely, much time is needed to mend bridged.
