If these lists are accurate, then Xbox might be better to go after exclusive marketing (and/or content) for EA FC, GTA & Fortnite rather than more acquisitions.

I donât think it does much because most people know these games are on both consoles. Heck, Microsoft had a fortnite series s bundle, and I donât think it moved a needle. The only way it would help if it were to include exclusive content, but even then having marketing for these games isnât that major. I think the only major one would be GTA And Fifa if Microsoft could create a bundle, but thatâs probbaly expensive

If you donât have an active sub, the cheapest way is stock up on three years of Xbox Live Gold (now called GamePass Core) however you can first, then redeem 1 month of GamePass Ultimate to trigger conversion. You should have 2 years of GPU as a result.

Ultimate is for Console/PC Game Pass and Multiplayer on Xbox. Console Game Pass will get you all the games, but any game that requires an internet connection and not F2P wonât be playable.

This is where it isnt clear imo. So the only reason to get Ultimate is for online multi ? As it says a games library of 25 games under console gamepass and not day one releases
Game pass core: gets you 25 games and the ability to play games online on console
Game pass for console: get you the full library of gamepass games on console but no online multiplayer
Game pass for PC: gets you the full library of game pass games on Windows PC including EA play
Game pass ultimate: gets you everything listed above as well as the ability to cloud stream games on console and PC and mobile
