Couldn’t agree more.
Still going to be about job cuts at game studios and game journalists is my guess. We have the news of the potential sale(if they can actually find a buyer) by reedpop, IGN’s parent company Ziff Davis has been hammered in the last year and cuts are expected across the board, just read team17(worms series) and the frontier developments(elite dangerous) studios have released forecasts with profits down and their share prices crashed plus embracer said they’ve still got more plans to downsize. My guess is that next year could potentially be worse for cuts then this year
This isn’t targeted at anyone specifically, but I do want to point out that I think this forum is better than acting with glee at the sale of Gamer’s Network and the possibility of the loss of independent games journalism and folk losing their jobs because of Line Not Going Up Fast Enough.
This - it’s an often repeated rule - don’t celebrate the death of jobs and livlihoods, especially at this time of year. For me, Eurogamer for example was a regular reading stop for the last 15 or so years. Hope it all turns out okay.
Welcome back!
I saw this, and this makes me happy. It’s Dusk Golem who said it. I want this to he Monster Hunter baaaaadly.

Tweet isn’t showing. This is what Dusk said
But anyways, there is a big Capcom game that’s being announced in late 2023 and releasing in 2024. But it is not a Resident Evil game. I will say that 4cha rumour is bollacks [sic], its someone making shit up. But there is no RE remakes coming out in 2024, I promise that.
The only reason I still buy physical games is due to them often being €10 cheaper than digital games, and as a Dutchman I’m hardwired to take the cheaper option.
No Resident evil in 2024?
Tweets aren’t showing?
They are for me, just gotta wait like 30 seconds
They appear, but it takes a while.
Great idea if true.

Yeah, best to just let things be.
Not a fan of this, and if going this path just leave a “sorry you feel this way about the game,” . and link them to a feedback page that goes to devs I think by going this approach they’re amplifying the negative criticism about the game.
As with many things, I’m sure everyone always feels bad for the individuals involved but shares no love for corporations who behave badly or engage in the most despised methods.

Hey, Capcom. I think you need to speak with Xbox to see how they secure their leaks or at least most of them.

Anyone want to bet if it does release?

I think it will release (not sure in February), but only because they’re tired of trying to make it into a good game and have taken the approach they have to end the development hell one way or another. Question is will it be good or bad?
