You’re all approximately 8 trillion percent correct. For release order I’d do:

  • Dino Crisis
  • Code Veronica
  • Onimusha
  • Dino Crisis 2
  • Onimusha 2 and 3

And then maybe get around to RE 5 eventually. :joy:

Can you imagine how amazing those dinos could look with that brand new engine they got? Man, they could make raptors absolutely frightening with some fantastic animations.

Code Veronica has to be next. RE5 should NOT be remade. It was awful.

Code Veronica is the one game that actually aged like milk, mainly the acting. It would benefit heavily under new style. Plus I feel the concept could use of exploring. The material despite anyone say still as canon as mainline one. It needs a remake.

My saltiness level will be “World’s Largest Salt Mine” if they remake 5 but not Code Veronica. It NEEDS it. And besides, if they’re going to do 5, they need to do CV first so we’re caught up on what Chris has been up to.

Code Veronica would be my vote. I was a Sega fan before I was an Xbox fan, so obviously I have deep nostalgia for the Dreamcast Resident Evil game.

That said… RE5 is my 8 year old son’s favorite Resident Evil. I’ve played multiple playthroughs of RE5 with him lol

i hope this game is good. It already seems deeper than spiderman 2 but that Gaas effect is not gonna sit well with critics

Microsofts own silicon designs for cloud and AI workloads. The 128 core CPU (Cobalt) seems to be based on ARM.

Yep, makes sense for Azure - often more efficient because they’re lower power+more cores, works great for Azure.

Still doesn’t mean a thing for Xbox atm - the blades are 1:1 silicon so they’ll be AMD. As we’ve seen for the last decade, we’ll see more companies investing in their own ARM fabs - just as we’ll see AMD, Nvidia, and Intel continue to invest in x86.

We’ll also see more ARM in supercomputing but thus far all of the greatest supercomputers - most recently those that meet the exascale benchmark - all use x86 coupled with dedicated GPUs.

Will be very interesting to see x86 and ARM compete over the next decade, but it’s also a good reminder that ARM is hardly new (the original DS used the architecture) and isn’t a magic bullet - if it were all of those aforementioned would have ditched x86 a decade ago when Apple started their own fab.

Would you look at that seems to show when you do a discount and actually have the thing in stock people buy the thing

Code Veronica should be the next RE game to get the remake treatment. No interest whatsoever in REmake5 and/or REmake6 as both can stay dead and buried for all I care.

Watched the suicide episode 1 video and I’m still very much on the fence. The movement looks good but the combat just looks very generic and there doesn’t seem to be a big difference in the combat between the characters. Hope they get it in a good place but I have my worries.

On the other hand I just starting the last mission for Marvel midnight suns and I’ve really enjoyed it. The storyline was decent, though the in between mission portion felt a bit of a chore from time to time but the combat with the cards was really good. The combinations and the randomness really impressed me. Considering buying the dlc though I might take a break and play Alan wake 2 first.

I always knew embracer had a lot of studios but I didn’t know they had approximately 18000 people working there. For a company that just announced that they did about a billion in sales with about $200m in profit, it’s a publisher that just seems so all over the place, a category I would also put ubisoft in. They’ve announced they retrenched 900 developers in one quarter. That’s just brutal for the employees

900 in a quarter alone is crazy as if to say “I still got a lot in me.” So many studios closed, so many jobs lost. I hope the whole process is done but I’m (sadly) certain that it’s not.

One step closer to pull their marketplace approach.

Will have to check it once it’s on Android, hopefully it’s not too bloated.

Really hope more comes out of this long term, an ARM powered Xbox would be awesome!

I had issues with 5, the forced partner, the increased action over horror focus but it was a very solid game

If they were to remake it and I fully I expect them to, it’s one of their all time highest selling games, if they were to up the horror and maybe change how coop was implemented i’d be down
