Things would have gone so much better for Activision had they released this as a “jumbo size DLC” (like Phantom Liberty) for MW2 instead of a stand-alone game. As a $40-50 DLC the review scores would be a completely different story.
Not that review scores are really relevant to COD anyway.
Yeah, but less people would have bought the DLC than a new game. It is critical to Activision to get the most out of every release. For them, it makes more sense.
What makes this funny , outlets like ign and pc gamer will say the game is awful, but will make multiple threads about it. It was hilarious seeing those outlets act like starfield is awful but kept on making articles about tips, thinkpieces, walk throughs, etc. the same will happen because i guarantee you ign will create weekly articles about loadouts, tiers, and other stuff about the 4/10 multiplayer.
To be fair to IGN …4/10 is too low. But lets not act like this game has been getting good reviews
I cant remember the last time a AAA game didnt have a single score in the green(7 or above)
While i agree theres an xbox ign tax(would have scored a 6 otherwise) im not going to slam ign for this paticular review when everyone is saying its bang average.
One thing is certain for future heads up. Past years always have haters of CoD and sales always do sheer results. Now we got to endure perhaps even more so due to being an Xbox brand, so haters of CoD and Xbox have joined forces to create an actual legion of doom.
I mean, don’t you remember when Fable Legends and Scalebound were cancelled, and everyone lauded Xbox for focusing on quality over quantity? That definitely happened.
But with this I mean how Gamespot is making up lies. Sony never said they canceled six games, they said they were delaying them.
Niiiice! That’s one tweet Gamespot won’t reply to.
Yep. I couldn’t believe it either. It’s good to see several people saying they are lying on there.
I saw one comment saying that Gamespot technically is right, Sony is canceling the release of six games and not canceling production. It’s the wording, this person says. Still, not sure I see it that way.
