It would be amazing if GTA 6 releases next spring, basically Rockstar pulling a Bethesda, very short window between announcement and release. But this I doubt.
More realistic is a planned release for spring, then delayed to holiday 2024. Worst case scenario is late 2025.

For me? That has to be the Starfield delay, after Todd had said the things he said. That genuinely came out of left field for me.
Another one would be years ago when it seemed Rockstar was getting ready to show the cover of GTA 5, only to delay it from spring to near end of that year. 
Yeah, thatās definitely a wise choice. A while ago someone told me that Rockstar apparently wanted to do away with the āannouncement two years in advanceā thing, but I have no idea where he got that from. It would be great. But itās game development, anything can happen.
I mean reveal announcement. Sorry, should have been clearer.

What kind of suck as well when a company is outed by leak/rumor is telling us what and when in text based. Itās like how some movie trailers tell you what the movie is before it begins. I donāt know why they start doing that, but it kills the hype for me, especially when my brother tends to blow my mind when showing a trailer without telling me what.

Overhauling the mission design and a far, far better matchmaking system for the online are two of my biggest wants
The mission design hasnāt been good since San Andreas and the way multiplayer is set up for GTAO is genuinely one of the worst out there, the neverending load screens and horrible lobby systems, horrid
A trailer out of the blue would have been amazing, or a big announcement page with artwork. I 100% feel you.
To answer your earlier question, the very first GTA 5 trailer came out of nowhere for me. I couldnāt believe it. That definitely shocked me.

But thank you for understanding. I mean look, Iām adaptable, so I go with time flows. Doesnāt mean I canāt point out why it lost its edge in my opinion. Iām willing to bet Rockstar did want to keep this as a surprise, but the cat is out of the bag, so there you go.

The news made me want to watch this again, to see what to expect from a reveal trailer.
Pretty cool to see it again and wild to think I finished it once, on the X360! Also played it on PS4 and on Series X, but never had the urge to play through it all again.

Yeah, I wish Jason had shut the fuck up. But I guess it was worth the clicks for him, itās a shame.
I wonder if the first trailer is going to contain a release date at all. The very first one for 5 didnāt iirc. Hopefully we end next year by playing it, but sometime 2025 is perfectly plausible too.

There is truly no other studio on the level of Rockstar, they stand on their own. GTA 6 will absolutely smash the current sales records, it will be a mind-boggling number. Something crazy like 30 million sales in a week.
