This is how they play Xbox in Abu Dhabi
And they say Series S with Xscreen is our only portable option.
I just finished Phantom Liberty and oh man, what a ride ! I didnât expect it to be THAT good. Itâs almost better than the main campaign, I canât decide. Iâm just blown away by everything they did with that DLC. If DLC could be nominated, itâs my GOTY for sure.
Cyberpunk 2077 is just so good right now that I feel like CDPR is really back on track. They did it, they fucking did it !
Great to hear. People said the same about Blood and Wine for Witcher 3. But Iâve yet to see that for myself. Gotta continue with Cyberpunk at some point too. Witcher 4 should be glorious.
Just for FYI WH40K Darktide is already playable with GP. I just started the game even though it is officially launching tomorrow.
how does it run on xbox?
I did the intro. Thereâs 2 modes on Series X, Graphics and Performance, and both seems to run pretty well. Stable framerate and good IQ. Thereâs no HDR though.
If they can make it âartisticâ and keep the world building coherent with the first game, Iâd be ok with this, assuming better draw distance, lighting, animations, frame rate, etc. than weâd see on PS4/Xbox One.
You could be right, Iâm not saying that youâre wrong here, but itâs also quite possible some there could agree with the decision. Asking these teams to step outside their wheelhouse and create a game to serve a financial interest probably didnât excite them but they get paid either way. Plus, projects get canceled all the time.
Even if itâs a project theyâre not in love with, they stuff put their heart and soul into it so I donât mean to paint a picture that they donât care. But rather, they understand itâs not worth holding a grudge over. They gained experience for the next attempt, or the next company they work for. Which ironically could be Bungie themselves.
He is a fan of AI.
Reading between the lines of a bunch of interviews, it definitely sounds like they have some sort of plan for AI in the future of games, either as part of dev or if they can fit it into gameplay who knows, but there seem to be a lot of indications that theyâre looking that way. Wonder if that is what they finally use to try to set themselves apart in the industry.
AI is the future whether people want to accept it or not
Itâs simply too powerful a tool to not be used and itâs still only in itâs infancy, MS would be completely foolish to not be looking at ways to utilise it for Xbox and itâs games going forward
Yup, sooner people stop having an adverse reaction to the acronym the better. It can barely even be mentioned on the other forum without things instantly going to crap.
I understand the concerns people have on AI(potentially) taking over peoples jobs, but on the other side of the argument, it can be revolutionary especially in gaming. AI can shorten development time with AI copilots. It can also help with QA testing(not replacing them) so it could help with making games more bug free. Plus the upscaling stuff like DLSS.
The biggest benefit would be RPG makers like Bethesda. People complain about the NPCâs in Starfield but imagine if AI make them more realistic like non repeated dialogues, them having conversations with you or in the background as you walk, like Radiant AI on steroids. It would make these games more immersive. It could even help with the facial animations people complained about lol.
At first I was like, âHuh, weird typo⌠and whatâs with calling him Rob instead of Bobby?â But then I did a quick search, and:
To be honest, that would be incredibly annoying. Itâs already hard enough to hear a conversation Iâm having with another character because an NPC starts talking to during it.
Exactly. This is the dream. Just the idea that NPCs will soon be able to call me by whatever character name I type in (usually Astrakan) is super cool to me. And when you think about all the other possibilities⌠the mind boggles.
