This gen barely started because of COVID and we are already close to a mid gen refresh.
DF has been talking about this for months and months and basically saying that there is very little in the market that could really give the boost needed to actually make it a “Pro”. The difference in Zen 2 to Zen 3 is a minor 30% upgrade, and might bring in some of the RDNA2 stuff just debuting on the PC side, but the question really starts to be… why would a PS5 Pro be needed when the PS5 has barely been pushed?
The reason a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X were needed was becaus ethe Jaguar based system was absolutely dogshit. This gen there isn’t a need for it.

Before Xbox purchased Bethesda, Sony paid for Deathloop and Ghostwire PS5 exclusives. Sony just sounds so stupid when they make these arguments about how Xbox shouldn’t be allowed it’s own exclusives. What a bunch of hypocritical liars.

This is what competition looks like, I guarantee both companies employees are thrilled and excited about the competition, when was the last time we had something like this potential big next thing where they are both trying to undercut announce and features haha.
I don’t think a midgen refresh is needed, but if PS makes one then Xbox has to as well.

Dungeon Universe and other crap is available. Nothing of these games have any features where a plain old sql db isnt enough. Its just a scam for venture capital or customer money.

The reason will probably be this: these people writing memos and white papers about dangers in AI which will come to the public if MS is sued for copyright infringement or other stuff.
