It’s been clear for a while now, the fact that RDR2 has sold like 50 million copies and they barely supported the online for it should say it all even if you want to ignore the painfully bad GTA trilogy and now this less than half assed crap

Switch wins for finally getting it. Xbox wins for proving BC is a bliss. PS wins for taking advantage of consumer. PC loses for never getting it.

Yeah I was able to play Witcher 2 because of the BC program. Love the books, and once that Witcher 1 remake releases I can say that I played the entire trilogy. I’m constantly playing BC games. I’m in the middle of KOTOR right now.

Yep. All anyone has to do is look at Sony’s first party games from PS4. Their best sellers are 20m out of 120m user install base which means 100m users didn’t buy their games. So imagine what a third party exclusive is going to sell.
Third party publishers should be 100% multi-platform (Microsoft, Nintendo, PC and Sony) unless they have a game like Contraband or Rise of the Ronin that’s being funded by the hardware manufacturer.
Only COD and Rockstar games constantly hit those 20m+ sales numbers. You’ll also get a Hogwarts or Elden Ring or Assassin’s Creed game here and there that did it or will do it but otherwise, they’re lucky if they even hit 5m in actual sold through numbers.
RDR wise, it’s not Rockstar doing the port and at the end of the day, it’s a Take Two Interactive decision and im sure they see easy money. Lucky for me, I don’t care about Red Dead. lol

Switch version is actually a good deal considering the bastardised garbage nintendo get away with at full price a RDR has more content and more quality than any wii u port nintendo tried to flog for 60 bucks.
TBF the Wii U to Switch port for Mario 3D World was great because it included Bowers’s Fury.

It’s probably not as big as the games you mentioned but KOF XIII is getting current gen ports to PS and Switch with upgraded netplay. People on Xbox are stuck with the old 360 BC version.
I bought it once when it released on 360, and when I had a laptop I bought it again on Steam. I would’ve bought it a third time too if we got the upgraded port.

Just had a thought with this - did it not come out in the FTC trial that Xbox were not allowed to advertise or do anything other than on the Xbox platform for COD?
