I’m sorry for all non-Italian players because inside that game is full of trashy quotes from Italian TV and memes

Had a 100 euro gift card for an electronics store which has everything overpriced as hell, except for those, so got them for 25 euros practically

Thinking on it, the only way beenox and toys for bob get a chance to move back to spyro/crash is if MS pulls a playground situation where they rapidly expand the studios work on COD and the other half works on spyro/crash.

Might cave in and get the Starfield controller. My default controller from the Xbox SX is finally starting to see some wear and tear.

While I wish you had a different reason than an unfortunate one, you will do the right thing for choosing that controller.

Starfield controller looks so good that I almost don’t want to actually use it. Like if my current living situation were different and I had a lot more space to, I would display it.

Sony exclusivity prestige in full effect. I wonder how many Game of the Year nominations GOT would have grabbed if it said Ubisoft on the box instead of Sony.

Right there with you; I studied Japanese and Japan’s history was one of my foci for my degree (specifically the history of “settled Japan” - the Yayoi period to the Meiji Restoration, which the Kamakura era obviously sits in). The fact that the gameplay was still built with all the Ubisoft trappings, the lip sync was atrocious, and the fact that there was nothing unique about the experience overall meant I dropped a game I should have loved within the first six hours :man_shrugging:

I think the gameplay itself is a lot of fun and just feels good. The game design though feels pretty bland as you’re essentially doing the same things over and over and none of the side stuff is particularly interesting and often feels a bit disconnected from the overall story.

Where GoT shines for me is in the atmosphere of the game. Visually, audially, the game is fantastic. The vistas are great, the foliage is great and the day/night with variable weather keeps things interesting.

I’ve actually been playing through it recently. I’m about 30 hours in and roughly 2/3rds through doing everything, and while I wouldn’t consider this game to be a masterpiece by any means, I think it’s overall a lot of fun.

I do wish they would have done motioncap for the Japanese actors faces, because as you said, the lip syncing is terrible and distracting.

Exoprimal is at 18 for most played in USA.

Yeah, I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t a get a chance to elaborate; the ‘gameplay’ I’m referring to is all the elements you desribe - from the copy/paste gameplay and progression of the game, which includes all the terribly-written fetch-quests

There are far too many instances of “follow these tracks” as well. It feels lazy at times.

I wish there was an elite version of the Starfield controller. I have it and it looks amazing, but going to mainly use it on pc

I’m playing Black Ops, MW2 and Shadowrun MP at the moment and it feels so good that I can enjoy these games more than 10 years after their release. I love trying older games that I missed, but playing multiplayer games that are supposedly dead is another kind of awesome.

I plan on jumping back into MW3 and BO2 MP just for the nostalgia drip. I’m sure my K/D ratio will be much lower this time around.

Pretty much. I’m usually a sucker for anything Samurai/Chambara related but this game just didn’t do it for me. Plus I was coming off Sekiro too so yeah.

Yeah, but there’s a lot of newbies too, it’s crazy, like multiple lvl 1 or 2 in Call of Duty lobbies among veterans, although it might be people who lost their old 360 accounts.

I also tried MW Remastered but I didn’t manage to connect to a match. I feel like it has been hacked or something.

Got to try out Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom for the first time today and I gotta say that the framerate is fine. It’s the early parts but so far so good. This isn’t juddery like AC Valhalla in quality mode is.

What’s not great at all is the aliasing, the shimmering, the very low resolution foliage and everything that really distracts from what could be such a damn good looking game. I will definitely wait for a new system before I buy this. Not to say it’s unplayable, but it’s absolutely unfortunate.
