Curious, but can you get Xbox App on it?
No Xbox app on Mac OS. There is an application called OneCast which lets you stream your console to your computer at home but it cost $25 or something like that, not really what Iām interested in. I much prefer native play due to the odd network design at my house, we have multiple bridged routers with a DECO system and its not the ideal situation for in home streaming. My Elder Scrolls Online character is also on the PC client, not Xbox.
Can you use xcloud through the browser, like on an ipad?
I see. So really got to choose carefully when buying a computer. Not saying you chose wrong, but you must have known what you wonāt able to do.
yes but Xbox Cloud Gaming doesnāt have the bells and whistles of what I want out of my gaming experience. Between input lag and less than ideal resolution/artifacting, its just not for me.
The one time I had fun with it was messing around for a few days with Fallout 76, but my main character is on PC so I didnāt really stick to it for long.
I know this might sound weird, but I use a Mac even though Iām not a big fan of Apple. Let me explain why. In the US, there is a lot of social pressure to use Appleās ecosystem, especially iMessage. If you donāt have an iPhone, you are left out of group chats and you get the dreaded green bubbles. Itās annoying and frustrating. I actually prefer Android phones and Microsoft products, but I feel like I have to conform to the norm. Plus, my parents use iPhones and are constantly sending me photos. Even when I had android and tried to move them to WhatsApp they wouldnāt budge and would eventually always forget and send me SMS messages instead. Same thing with my girlfriend, she has an iPhone and we always send each other photos and memes.
Another reason why I use a Mac is because of the Pro Apps Bundle for Education. This is a package that includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage for only $199.99. Thatās a steal compared to paying for Adobe creative suite as a student, which costs $19.99 per month or $239.88 per year. I needed these apps for my major at the time, so it makes sense to get a Mac and save money. Plus I mainly do most of my work in Microsoft Edge for Mac anyways, which is Microsoft software.
Donāt get me wrong, I think Windows is improving and I miss Windows phone. I like the integration with Android. I also think Windows laptops have more variety and features than MacBooks. But for now, Iām sticking with a Mac because it works for me and it suits my needs.
I respect that. I do own iPad and iPhone, but not Mac. I do like it though. I just go with my preference of choice in the end. Itās all on preference in the end. No one is really wrong. Just human nature.
I had to play 100 plus hours of persona5 royal on xcloud last year and it was a grest experience. Ran 60fps at 1080 and i had no issues with my moga add on.
Certain genres are fine. Others are not. I cant play shooters on xcloud or fast paced games.
Is it an M1 Mac? You can run windows 11 through parallels, but the games that run on it are limited. Maybe thereās a list out there.
Do you primarily use laptops, or are you stationary with an iMac? I ask because you can build a gaming PC that can run some of these games at medium settings with decent framerates for pretty cheap. There are also small form factor PCās that you can buy as well that are the size of an external hard drive that can do the same. Both solutions can be had for under (and sometimes well under) $500. At that point youāre probably better off just getting a series S, but there are options.
Life lesson.
I wish diablo was play anywhere, so I could play it on my laptop and also stream it on the go.
lets hope it will join gamepass soon
Iām rewatching the Dredd movie (Karl Urban) and we really need a new game based on him, his skillset is ripe for games. CD Projekt Red would be a great fit, based on Cyberpunk 2077, though thatās probably the biggest reason why they wouldnāt do it, being quite similar and all.
A high budget judge dredd movie would be killer
Made by coalition. Make it happen ms
Not cdpr. Shouldnt be an rpg
Cyberpunk is a shooter with very light RPG elements, so Iād have no issues with CD Prokect Red either way, but Coalition would do a great job as well, no doubt.
Id rather it be 3rd person lol
I kinda want to get Diablo 4 but Iām still torn with never playing any of the others.
