A Netflix AAA game, but how does that work? Isnāt it still mostly mobile games they do?
Iām just spit balling here, but perhaps this is their first attempt to develop a console game?
I wonder if they try to become a third party publisher with some contract for first rights to any ip in movie or show. I figure that could possibly allow them to continue to grow and maybe get some more unique ips under their belt.
TBH the reason why I posted this was the fact that both Joe Staten and Raf Grassetti are part of the project, two VERY big hitters.
And for those who are not aware Raf was previously the Art Director, Principal/Lead Character Artist, Studio Art Director at Sony Santa Monica (God of War).
Cool to see xbox getting a physical version along with the other platforms
Just did a bit of digging, Chacko Sonny is the head of Studio at the Southern California Game Studio at Netflix which is working on AAA PC game.

I hope Netflix do a PvE game. Why are there so few PvE games anyway?
Wdym PvE ? MMO PvE, Singleplayer game or coop PvE ?
One thing is for sure, is that the character models are going to be badass.
For anyone who was interested (I wasnāt lol), impressions are coming in for Marvelousās Loop8 JRPG and it sounds bad/mediocre
Xbox of course gets very few of these budget JRPGs so it sucks when a one that does come is not good. The kings of budget JRPGs to me are Gust, Falcom, and NIS. I will continue to cling to Nickās rumor that MS is talking to NISA and that Ys VIII is coming to GP.
As a counterweight to this though there is Rune Factory 4 coming to GP also from Marvelous and thatās one of their best games

Something like the PvE parts of Destiny which is pretty much most of the game.
I was tempted to buy it on Switch. Now Iām tempted to buy it on both.
