So the same people who complained two years ago are complaining yet again about the same damn thing??? Wow. You would think that they would know this shit already and how it works considering Sony has been doing exclusive shit since the original PlayStation.

Oh well. Want to play Starfield? Buy the box. :joy:

Nice!!! Looking forward to this one especially since it’s an action RPG and not a souls like game. Woohoo!!!

What do you mean by “anymore”??? lol

Woohoo!!! Looking forward to Sifu on my Xbox Series X. Will play it after REmake4 and before Jedi Survivor.

I find the 1st one to be meh. Long ass cutscenes and weak story IMO. If the 2nd one is more of that? than that a easy pass.

The first one clearly had budget cuts in some spots, being the first HD2D game and an early Switch game after all.

So far for me 2 is a direct QoL upgrade and the soundtrack is just as strong (Octopath 1 has one of my favorite ever JRPG soundtracks).

The writing still seems sloppy though, I only recruited all the characters so far. For me though it was again, the soundtrack, and gameplay that strongly carried the first game so I’m guessing that’ll be here too.

I also expect a much stronger finale as Octopath 1’s was a hidden away sidequest. 2 is more proper I hear.

Got my bets on “nothing at all”, ngl.

It’s from the Dead Space Remake trailer, I was watching it and that guy showed up for a second and the color of his clothes and their style made me think of a Vault suit.

Hooked up my Samsung external HDD to the XSX, but with any game I try to install it stays installation stopped and that’s all it says, it doesn’t download/install at all. This likely means the HDD is dead? I did format it via the XSX and that went well.

Have you tried moving an already installed game over to it?

From the internal to the external? Hmm, not yet. I will try this first thing tomorrow.

I assume it’s possible, but I’ve never tried. You could also plug it into a pc and use a program that checks HDD health. Hopefully the drive isn’t dead, that’s never a fun experience.

It is laughable to me seeing how people around there talked/talks about this “Sony excellency in the GAAS space” (or whatever its called) with bungie’s help when the only thing that has allowed that game to exist to this day is its wonderful gunplay.

Dont get me wrong. I’m not saying Bungies is not good at what is doing but I fail to see how you can translate Destiny’s mechanics to the horizon MP game, the next twisted metal and those 12 GAAS they have under their pipeline.

Ligthfall seriously dropped the ball HARD after WQ with and evenmore disjointed and badly told story (not that anything before this was anything to be proud though) questionable balances, uninteresting characters, a new meh “map” and I could go and go…

I’ll repeat Destiny is alive today thanks to its masterfully gunplay and because Bungie are second to none in these aspect. The rest let a lot to be desired.

A couple weeks ago @Vanillalite was talking about the Wireless headset and it started to make me want one too  We got taxes back and my wife asked if there was anything I wanted to buy :+1:

Of course my son basically took ownership of them immediately…

What’s the exact appeal of Destiny ? I never really got into it.

Surely it can’t be just the gunplay ? Otherwise Halo would be popular too.

For most it’s probably the loot/gear grind.

Yeah the loot/gear grind is the hook for me. I play it every once in a while.

My best guess is because Destiny is focusing on story content 1st, and MP content 2nd. Throw in the mechanic of always grinding for new loot, new and returning characters/zones and you get what attracts most people in MMOs. But because it’s a shooter people that generally don’t get into MMOs can also get into it.

When it came out, no other game was doing a small shared-world that was rich in story and had excellent gunplay. I haven’t touched Destiny 2 since Season of the Splicer but I’m kinda feeling like I should jump back in because Lightfall looks awesome but the price is rough.

Destiny is basically responsible for the GaaS trend that we’re seeing (even though they’ve been around forever but not called GaaS)

Destiny stole most of its setup from PSO 2
