This one seems strange because that show was popular in the West, so it seems weird to pass on a console with strong western base.

If you own both systems it won’t matter as much, except for that I’d rather buy as many multiplats on Xbox as possible. So far Sony’s acquisitions haven’t been world shattering, except Bungie. Not earth shattering though.

This will likely be one of the downsides of a service like Game Pass
There will be devs/games that don’t want to bother with an xbox version because it will be hard for smaller/indie games to compete with the whole bunch of new and old indies that gets launched into GP every month
It’s hard enough as it is but now they have to compete against indies that are promoted heavily front and centre and people getting them for “free”, for some devs it either won’t be worth the risk or it’s better to wait for a GP cheque
But on the flipside, there will be tons of indies that will make it to xbox because of the service like GP, many of which probably would have never came and many that will come because devs see the success those games have on xbox or because of a service like GP
Although in this case it is a bit odd considering they’ve brought other more obscure stuff to xbox than this
I remember hearing crude renditions of the theme song in kindergarten, it’s definitely not a piping-hot property. Could be a fun game though!

After the massive layoffs, no surprises here. Since the game was never revealed and it was said to be a multi-player FPS, I personally don’t care. If a game is not up to par and missing deadlines/milestones, cancel it and move on.
Sounds pretty good to me. Especially the combat which for me personally is first and foremost the most important aspect in any game. The 25 minute State of Play sold me on the game and all the RPG elements. You should watch the 25 minute State of Play if you haven’t already.
I’m hoping that Dragon Quest XII goes with realistic visuals, full voice acting, eliminates the silent protagonist and goes M rated with real time action combat. Turn based was great back in the day but now, it bores the shit out of me. lol
Visuals wise, they can keep the art style from DQ XI if I get everything else that I want. Hehehe.
Pretty sure that you can customize the HUD and turn off damage numbers.

This is a bit of an odd question, but I’ve been wondering about it for a while now.
Why do you sometimes see people write the word Xbox in weird ways? Obviously, the standard is “Xbox” and the runner up is “XBOX”. But why do people write “XBox” or “X-Box” or something similar?
Note that these are not typos. Often enough, I’ve seen users (mostly Reddit) use these versions multiple times in a single post. Even if someone replies to them using “Xbox”, they will still use “XBox” in their reply back.
Is it a regional thing? Did MS at one point ever use “XBox”, “X-Box”, etc? Where does this come from?
Last generation they even made XBOX an acronym.

But ultimately they don’t want you to refer to the specific consoles anymore. They just want you to call it Xbox. Even when they launch the smart tv app, they don’t really want to call it Xcloud or anything like that, just call it Xbox.
