I am early into Ghostwire and this game feels amazing so far. I really like the world they created and the combat is fun. Playing the game makes me think a Constantine game can work because I feel this game nails how to use underworld, powers, and supernatural forces.
Costco is always my go to. $89 for a 100 credit. Limit 3 per month.
For me it will be Armored Core and Starfield. I have a feeling both of these will be great and right up my alley.
I beat the Minecraft Legends āCampaignā last night and I honestly donāt know whether I liked the game or not. It was fun and charming in a way and the gameplay was fine, but the A.I. and pathfinding for your army is just terrible. Also, having to build ramps was probably the least fun thing I had to do in the entire game. It also didnāt help that sometimes half my army would just ignore the ramp altogether and continue to run into a wall and/or simply fall off the platform. Thatās really fun when youāre trying to take over an outpost! Another serious gripe I have is that when my army got over 50-60 strong, the A.I. seemed to lag out for 5-10 seconds at a time. Even the enemies would sometimes just stand there and do nothing.
Ultimately I enjoyed the experience, but it always felt like there was something missing. Also, I think this game would be pretty challenging for kids. Whatās up with Mojang and making their minecraft games so difficult?
I would add Redfall and the inevitable Game Pass surprise (Hollow Knight 2 shadowdrop at Xbox showcase! believe!) in there and this is pretty much my gaming schedule here too, the only thing that I donāt know is how many hours Iāll play TotK which means I donāt know when I will be able to start getting into SF6 (still getting it day one though). May and June will probably be all about Redfall and Zelda.
Anybody excited about Asus ROG Aly? feels like Microsoft has a hand on subsidizing its price($699 for the top model which is competitive against steam deck). Im hyped about the future of handheld gaming.
Yeah, I am excited for it. I was going to get a gaming laptop since the shell for my current one cracked. However, $699USD with all that power seems very tempting. Plus being able to play native gamepass, epic game store games Iāve collected, and Steam makes it very enticing.
Yeah, it would be a good gamepass handheld device, plus Microsoft involvement with this leads me to believe this is the unofficial handheld devices of Xbox.
Iām cautiously excited. Iāve been looking at a range of these handheld gaming PCās for the last 6 months, but the price is always a barrier to entry for me. And as much as I wanted to get a Steamdeck, I just wasnāt satisfied with the performance specs of it.
Ultimately Iāll reserve judgement until the specs and price are revealed and the device gets into the hands of reviewers, but Iām excited by the rumors surrounding it thus far.
The fact that I can buy this from Best Buy does make me more likely to impulse buy it since I can put it on my Best Buy card though.
Yup, but imagine like 2 years from now, with how fast technology is growing in the handheld market, we might get Series S like specs(of course it will have less power than a console), where 1080p 60 fps is possible on next gen games, exciting times.
Finally its Star Wars time
Jfyi there are 44GB on disc and it runs from it without any download or internet connection. I donāt know what the additional 100 GB change, but i will find out.
Iām interested if the low end model is $500 but also need the final specs. I donāt care about the battery life because Iāll just plug it in while playing it at home. Iām not someone who goes outside and plays mobile and handhelds.
Is there any way to connect a wired internet connection to the handheld to download games or can you only download the games via wi-fi? Also, is there an HDMI out port?
I donāt think thereās ethernet port, but it supports wifi. I believe for HDMI connection you have to use an accessory
Thanks for the info. Do you know if thereās a USB port?
Everything after the first planet
Kind of interesting to me though how certain games that lack performance modes and hovers between 40 and the low 50ās of fps get a pass with the gaming media and players while others will get dog piled on for it by everyone and their mothers for days on end.( even if they tell people beforehand while the other said nothing) Not saying any names, just a general observation.
So playing The Last case of Benedict Fox, and I have to say loving it! itās clearly a soulslike-ish, and from what Iāve seen it seems like it will be one of those games that will do background info through flashbacks. That first tentacle boss though, in his last phase is annoying because itās a oneshot mechanic, that if you havenāt yet figured out you donāt get a chance to until you get pass phase 1 and 2.
And another one.
I wonāt play Redfall until later in the year, if I still manage to get to it. I know I wonāt be able to finish it ahead of TotK, and I know I probably wouldnāt start it over once I inevitably drop it for Zelda.
I likely wonāt be able to finish Zelda before SF6 drops, either. But those two games are so fundamentally different that it shouldnāt be an issue for me to play them in tandem.
