1st half of 360 gen was great. 2nd half not so much.
IMO, Right now to me… Xbox is the best it ever been for me as a gamer.
I have been playing more games then i have ever before. It’s because of gamepass.

What should they say? They announced within one month of launch Hi-Fi Rush reached 2 million players and when Mikami left Tango they declared it as one of the best launches of Xbox and Bethesda. I don’t think there is anything else to add.

I agree about the Starfield comment, I hope it’s the beginning of the steady AAA good complete games every quarter target and they then have something they can market. I think if they can start to do that 90% of the extraneous complaints start to disappear. I just feel there’s a lot of frustration that it’s taking them this long to get to that stage and when big games do come out there’s been issues

You don’t build a subscription empire over night.
Even if Hi-Fi Rush failed to meet financial expectations, it did build towards the idea that there are quality games on Xbox. It built confidence towards the brand in a way many other Xbox exclusive games didn’t.
Microsoft just needs to be consistent, I really believe they should delay Redfall to remove drm and add in the 60fps. Make it that each game is simply of highest quality possible.

If it’s the leaders, than they have to allow Gaming to stop putting so much of their supply of Series X into the cloud. I understand that cloud gaming is a potential future they don’t want to miss out on, but it comes with having less available consoles for the public to buy.
Unless they want to ramp up production to a point that they can do both at once, the focus on either will cause the other to suffer.

Not really, just a statement about not believing every Tom dick and Harry on the internet. If they have to ruin the credibility of a leaker like Jez or Jeff to get the point across, then so be it.
Yes the Hi Fi stuff is nonsense imo but I do believe management should improve they were putting millions of Series X chips in the cloud in 2021 during a massive chip shortage and console shortage instead of trying to gain market share they could have waited until demand decreased and supply increased to do it

they had massive shortages in the first half of 2021 even worse than the PS5 due to putting chips in the cloud the number must have been in the millions

The articles are starting to flow in. Xbox needs to get a grip and shit these rumours down now. If Nintendo can sue a person into oblivion, I’m sure an employee can issue a statement.
Steamspy says Hi Fi Rush has 200k to 500k copies, this game at worst scenario had probably paid off, best scenario is that it was very profitable. That’s counting with the Steam royalties, and not counting the minority who bought rather than use GP on Xbox.
I had it bad in wrestling universe, so I’m used to it.

The shit about hi fi rush not doing well might be the dumbest shit ive read. Like on what planet did you wxpect the game to make more money? It had a huge number of players and gamepass engagement for a day 1 drop new ip. Thats successful to me.

Not sure who grubb spoke to but theyre probabyl some mid level engineer or marketing rookie at MS. Grubb does know some people linked to ms directly. No way in hell he leaks the kojima thing otherwise. 0 He was also the first person and only one to consistently say theres a metrodi orime remaster and not a all in one trilogy port. But sometimes his sources let him down with bogus info that higher ups can just dismiss.
