Welcome aboard!
You know, how come thereâs no âWhy skip PS!â scenario. Legit curious and most likely wonât get an actual answer.
I didnât realize the XBOX community had gotten so insufferable lately. Sony could have bought Square, because I think itâs the only way to stop all this repetitive and unbearable drama.
We get too down on ourselves and forget what itâs all about.
Reminds me of Touhou Lunar Nights, I recommend to anyone.
That game is awesome!
this sucks
It really does and yea, Luna Nights was really good
WB titles. What? Not good enough to say âmore good games leaving service?â Because Xbox got one, so why they canât get that treatment? Infinite free pass?
Maybe Microsoft could poach some of the developers and hand them jobs at The Initiative, InXile and Obsidian?
Do we really need to see more Forza? Itâs cars, they look nice and go round, round on a track. A very short trailer and a date is enough.
I think weâll get more Hellblade 2 though, and Awoved⌠That âsoonâ for Avowed is coming up on two years lol.
Other than that I feel itâs impossible to predict without knowing if they will stick to the lame 12-month thing or not.
Theyâll definitely show Forza again as itâs a big game but I hope they donât spend too much time on it
They already spent way too long on it last year and it killed the pacing for me and yes, please dump the 12 month thing
Not only because it opens you up to delays and âmismanagementâ debates but because it really limits how much you can show, doing it again would be even dumber considering so many games are going to miss that window anyway so nobody is going to trust that going forward
I know people gave me grief for thinking the 12 month thing was stupid but Iâll be shocked if they adhere to it again.
All the doom/concern posting is kind of weird to see as someone who left the PS ecosystem behind after 4 generations and got his first Xbox this current generation.
Why? Not necessarily because PS is focusing on games I donât care for. That had already been set in motion during last generation, when Bloodborne was the one and only thing that put PS4 over the top for me, even though I had considered getting an XB1. Last gen, PSâs proposition wasnât necessarily exciting for me â but neither was Xboxâs.
The difference is that, while PS was focusing more and more on one particular cut of video game I donât care for, while simultaneously dismantling Japan Studios, MS started to evolve partway through last gen. Backwards compatibility and Game Pass were huge, and the moment they announced the Zenimax acquisition, I knew their future first party prospect would be way more exciting for me than whatever PS could offer.
I get it, though. If you have been gaming on Xbox for generations, the wait for those prospects to actually bear fruits might be more unbearable than it is if you just got into Xbox gaming at the start of this generation, and thus still have a lot of legacy exclusives to work through.
They donât call IGN First For nothing.
If itâs like the last three yearsâ worth of E3s, theyâll pivot to what the zeitgeist supposedly wants and then after the show weâll hear about nothing but some new fabricated complaint about the makeup/presentation of the show⌠which theyâll adjust to, hear a bevy of new absurd complaints, adjust, repeat ad infinitum.
