Interesting development. Microsoft have a lot of tools from outside the gaming sphere that are going to appeal to a lot of game developers. I hope they can use them to counter Sony’s spending on 3rd party exclusivity

They are increasingly getting involved in gaming as they know they have largely saturated media and need new markets to grow.
It also just shows how idiotic it is to say that gaming is anywhere close to being monopolised.

Could it be the Rebel Moon’s game?
It appears to be a AAA RPG from Snyder’s description. And a new sci-fi epic is a suitable IP for Staten.
But again, Netflix is probably working on multiple AAA projects.
Interested in seeing what they bring to the table gaming wise if they’re serious about it.
As long as they’re not Google 2.0, we should be seeing some soon. Maybe Staten will be to Netflix what Jade Raymond is to Stadia if you know what I mean.

An interesting bug
Have like 6 end the game bosses on the screen and they can’t do anything about me
Gaming will most likely never be monopolized unless it all crashes or some shit. Console gaming can only become a monopoly if one of the big three acquires one of the other big two and this is highly unlikely to happen.
As for Netflix, are they making console games or are they mobile games? If it’s console, we’ll see what Staten comes up with even though it’s probably years away.
What I find most interesting about this is the multiplat aspect. He’s saying AAA game so I suppose it’s not just mobile “multi plat”.
Will you need to log onto Netflix on xbox to play it or is it just a regular retail release.
Looking forward to find out more about it. Interesting development.
