I feel like we’re long overdue for a Windows ## - Xbox Edition. Although that might raise more regulator’s eyebrows if they start specifically targeting PC gaming (not that they aren’t already doing so).
I feel like they shouldn’t be giving a hackathon project this much attention lol

It could end up being something, like how the adaptive controller started out as a side project. But I agree, until Microsoft announces this it’s just a side project.

Random career advice here for any youngsters on the forum.
In the U.S. there is a nationwide shortage of young accountants right now. This is a trend that has been building for several years, but has recently become clear to absolutely everyone. I can’t speak to the job market outside the U.S., but I wouldn’t be surprised if trends weren’t similar elsewhere.
My University has had a 100% placement rate for graduating accountants for as long as I can remember, but this year the job to graduate ratio is probably about 3 to 1 or higher. We are literally fielding calls/emails from employers almost every day desperate to hire accountants, but we have no students to give them (because all the upcoming graduates have already signed offers).
So, if you are in school or about to be you might consider an accounting major. Our graduates are getting starting offers in the $70,000 range not counting a variety of bonuses and incentives. That number is almost sure to continue increasing in the coming years until this situation sorts itself out somehow. I am in a relatively low cost of living area. In major metro areas starting salaries are even higher.

I understand the necessity of it but it makes my skin crawl that you have to verify you’re a person by logging into a social media platform.

I don’t see the value of that when you can buy most ubisoft games on deep discount. I was able to buy Far Cry 6 for that exact price lol

If you’re super into Assassins Creed I can see it being very appealing, getting those games Day 1 at a fraction of the cost seems nice
But I stopped caring for Ubisoft games in the 360 era so I have negative levels of interest in this, especially as someone who is locked into GP

Maybe they’re planning to release a re-re-master of it. They could call it Spiderman: Sucker’s Edition.
