It is annoying but certainly under there rights
This looks pretty nice actually.
You look nice
What a meet-cute.
Cool. I think the previous one was quite decent? Well paced and stuff.
Yeah, the last one on Twitch was better paced and not 4 hours long.
I’ll be co-streaming it with Soulblazers on our twitch channel.
I don’t know why people expected a native handheld PS5 to run on custom hardware where the games are 100% tailored to it, no sliders and scales to adjust to different specs like the PC.
How would they possibly make the handheld run PS5 games without asking devs to go back and re develop their games. They aren’t going to use Linux (steamOS) or windows, they don’t stand to make any money that way.
At least Xbox has the hope that within 1-2 years the Series S specs could be translated into a handheld but Sony has no room to the same.
A true Vita successor / PSP3 just isn’t possible anymore. Can’t possibly run two platforms at once with their own uniquely tailored games and be able to continuously keep both fed anymore (Sony also has to keep their VR platform fed too)
It would also be tough to price a handheld device that natively plays PS5 games at a price that keeps it from just being a niche product.
A Playstation cloud device sounds pretty pointless though. Will it only be able to stream Playstation games? It will, again, be a niche product that’s for sure.
Cloud based handheld? What’s even the point when millions of people own cell phones? I don’t get it.
I get why they this isn’t the case, but I’d love it if the console companies made portable versions of their retired consoles. Forget a PS5 portable - imagine a PS4 portable, or an Xbox One portable primarily just for the back catalogue.
Maybe Sony feels that a handheld is their best way to gain ground in the cloud market? They’ve been reluctant to go in the same direction as Gamepass, offering cloud for free with Ultimate is not something Sony likes doing (too much value for customers )
So, the PS brand could easily sell millions of handhelds and be the start of their cloud gaming ambitions. Could see them selling it at $200.
Well they’re testing to see if there’s a crowd. Plus, you can save your phone battery if you play in another device. That said we’ll see what the verdict on the approach.
One hour? That’s good pace.
Xbox finally getting some exclusive 3rd party trailers for advertising. Sony has been doing this for ages and results can be seen in how much bigger PS youtube channel is in comparison. Hope Xbox continues to do more, all of the little stuff like this helps grow the brand.
Save the phone battery? Considering how much battery life Sony’s controllers use, their handheld would probably run out of battery life in half the time of a cell phone. lmao
