Dang, you guys are real old. I grew up with the Xbox 360!
No wonder you guys like Twitter so much, youngins!
I got my X360 in college. (Granted it was 2008)
Iām not even in college yet (though not much longer)!
Everybody just shut up and let me be oldā¦
Probably best to do that, but I canāt help but feel thereās a really cool reward or something if I do beat him.
Hah, so thatās how it feels
It really really sucks.
Iāll give ya a hintā¦
Iām old enough to appreciate the below mentioned scene when THIS movie first came out:
Why would you do this to me???
My older brothers had an Atari and a ZX spectrum. I was too young, but I played the Nes and Snes on some tiny 4:3 TV. Star Fox was so good and Iām pretty sure I was so bad at it. Secret of Mana was magical too and I probably only played a few hours of it !
I remember the first time I played Mario Kart on GBA in a videogame store : it was the future ! Those sprites, man. I mean, having what was as good as a Snes in your pocket was crazy at the time. I played so much Advance Wars and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance !
Console wars was not my concern at all back in the day. With my friends, we were playing what we had and could buy, so not much. When I saw my friend playing Ocarina of Time one wednesday afternoon, it was like discovering what a videogame could be. We didnāt know the meaning of framerate or tearing. It was just a game that felt special. I was obsesses by it and I could not even play it as my brother could only buy the PS1 at the time.
I also have a memory seeing an ad for Metal Gear Solid on the back of a cereal box. It feels crazy to remember that nowā¦
Itās really cool to think about how I witnessed the history of videogames from the perspective of a teenager. From that young age, I litterally absorbed all those things and I really appreciated what was possible at the time.
Metal Gear Solid 2 was hype before the invention of hype. My friend had bought ZOE just to play the Tanker demo disk and it was so good. The intro was pure bliss and still is. Full game was a little bizarre to say the least, but I didnāt care much. Yeah, gaming was for nerds in the 2000, I remember.
I think we did a poll back in autumn and it was mainly 35-45
26 here!
Iām from '94, so it is a mix from squares 2 and 3
Iām old square one for me!
I grew up playing Playstation 1 and Playstation 2. i also grew up in the CS 1.6 era, which was a phenomenon in Brazil.
good times
Not to me. Married With Children is STILL my all time favorite TV sitcom/comedy. I can watch episodes now decades later and still laugh my ass off as if I was watching them for the first time.
Awww, manā¦im not even in the Early Millennial Culture category.
