30 vs 60fps… Always, I mean always I stick to 60fps. Always been a console gamer with 360 and Xbox one and never cared for 60fps but once I got a gaming laptop and experienced 60fps gaming its just not possible for me to play a game at 30fps anymore. It just feels like the game is lagging at 30fps and it gets quiet jarring to play.
Currently have a Laptop with 2070 and looking to upgrade to a 3070 laptop in the next 6 months.
I guess. Doom is way too fast paced for me. Quantum Error looks a lot slower.
If MS gets discrod they should leave the operation of it as is and on all platforms. Its a big part of gaming now and any change to how it operates will not still well with the community
MS already has experience in this regard and it should be treated same as Minecraft
They will do the same thing they did with GitHub and LinkedIn, basically letting them operate as they always have. It is a new leadership.
I have 100% confidence they will.
Current leadership is great but I wonder how much change the next set of executives will bring. I do hope future executives have the same values as the current set in terms of services.

Once again, it is not one way or another. What they decide to spend on one thing won’t affect what they decided to spend on another thing. As an example, they bought Zenimax, and yet, it is only recently with the Biden government putting the Oracle/Walmart acquisition of TikTok US operations on hold that we know that MS is still interested in it and ready to step in if things don’t work out.
You do know MS has money to burn? They have been adding $8-10 Billions profit per quarter for past 2yrs.

For me 30fps takes like 30 minutes to get used to if I’ve been playing nothing but 60fps games. I’ll never pass up an amazing game because of framerate.
