I’m real glad MS has really knocked it out of the park with regard to this. Because due to covid, while we got new systems, we got very little exclusive games to play on them. So basically, both of these systems for most people are just playing better versions of previous gen games. Except one company actually makes an effort to not only preserve those games for you, often updates them for you for free. Here we are getting games with FPS boosts for free while Sony can’t even get their biggest game from last year updated on their hot new system.
Sure is nice to have BC with updated games when new games are getting delayed left and right. Because what the fuck else you going to play?

If you’re using external SSD or external NVME they are nearly as fast as internal NVME. If you are using external mechanical spinner / rust drive it will be slow on loads.
Quick Resume always happens to and from internal NVME.
So getting back into the game will be fast. But going between levels in the game depends on the speed of the stored drive.
Reading about Genshin Impact revenue, I am still mindblown how it skipped Xbox. I wonder what was the reason.
Yeah I’m getting it via Game Pass too but I couldn’t be more proud to have backed Psychonauts 2.

It’s just crazy to think that there’s now like a 90% chance this is coming day and date to Xbox as well, to think Yakuza as a franchise is no longer stuck on playstation. Very dope that MS chose to pursue this franchise, one of the better decisions they’ve made in the last few years.

It’s crazy how Yakuza series became one of my favourite franchise because of the output of last gen.

Desperados 3 is just great stuff man. If I had to guess I’m in the last few missions and you truly have to make use of your team and time everything just right if you don’t want to raise the alarm. And when you pull it off, it’s just so good! I might get the season pass when I finish this.

I can see Phil making sure it comes to Xbox, maybe even Game Pass, but probably the former and maybe like with LAD as timed exclusive. But that shouldn’t matter to us at all, long as it comes on day one.

Pretty bummed that there will likely be console shortages till at least next year.
Series s was gunna shine as the cheapest console. But with consoles in short supply they won’t get extra sales from it.
