The first DLC has probably my favourite lvl in the franchise.
that would honestly be very cool but I highly doubt SEGA wants to pursue or allow that.
Stranger things have happened.
Anyway, this post will be there for posterity. I can tell people âI told you soâ if something like this happens.
Also, I might fall off my chair and do a âspit-takeâ if this happens.
So itâs prediction preservation > Game preservation now? haha cool.
Sicamicanikoâs skills with forum upgrading notwithstanding.
The story he told about updating the forum was scary.
faaaak I was like âare you telling me you almost nuked all of us from Xboxera orbit?â I can imagine just how much anxiety @Sikamikanico had for those 15 minutes.
We come in peace - dear Sikamikanico.
But seriously, you need a good go-to DevOps/sysadmin guy for these things.
Câmon, outwardly, I nailed it!
You should have done it on Saint Patrickâs Day, right in the middle of festivities, for extra tension.
It seams illegal to me. If I bought a digital ps3 game. I should be able to delete and download it whenever I want. If a game i own is unavailable for download then I should be able to get my full money back.
Unfortunately when you purchase a digital game, youâre agreeing to the opposite. If you comb through the legal garbage, youâll discover that we have very little rights as consumers. Even physical discs are bound by a mythical license that we have no actionable control over.
Monday went by without Xbox news.
Xbox is doomed.
I believe Dreamcast was a bit of a dual situation and very few games actually used windows ce.
Agree there.
But the point goes beyond Windows CE. Anything and any of the past consoles can have a hypervisor if the Engg team is good. And this Xbox/Windows Engg team is very very good. (They have Linux running on Windows without the need of an emulator is also staggering, btw.) Also, the fact that there are so many emulators in the market supports my point.
The idea, then is:
- instead of having unsupported emulators, make an official one and release games that work with Xbox Network (saves, achievements, etc.)
- So, the next immediate question is: What past hardware console â that has been legendary â does not have official support for playing their past games. SEGA, Neogeo, Atari, etc. come to mind. The one closest to Xbox in this scenario is still SEGA.
This might be an incredible feat, if this is done well.
Yes, this illusion people have that they own the game if they buy a physical copy isâŚinteresting.
Hades right there
YES!
The Gunk confirmed to be there as well, looking forward to getting release dates for some of this stuff.
