Not because we are mainly an xbox centric forum but my goodness is xbox dogwalking the ps5.
Auto Hdr, fps boost, game pass, quick resume and soon Dolby vision hdr.

i think a lot of this is Xbox not allocating ressources for a new os and dashboard but instead building new cool features. i like it that way.

This week was the first time Iâve seen a diehard PlayStation fan not downplaying Xbox and actually thinking âI should have gotten a Series X insteadâ.
And it wasnât just one.
This.
Keeping the same UI as the One might have taken away our feeling of a âshiny new toyâ, but instead of having to think about creating folders or making the store work flawlessly they now can deliver things like FPS Boost and Auto HDR.

NoâŚPresenting purely subjective opinions as facts is not helpful for discussion. And I didnât call other pplâs âopinionsâ ridiculous in the other thread. I said their CLAIMS were ridiculous. Claims can be checked.
Ex: If someone claims that Phil confirmed various specific games are exclusive, for instance, that can be checked against his actual words. There is an objective method to uncovering if the claim is true. That is NOT the case for opinions. In this example we could check Philâs direct quote and find the claim to be entirely false. He did not say that. That is objective and all sensible ppl should agree as much. Only irrational, emotion-driven ppl would feel compelled to assert otherwise.
Folks on the internet really need to learn what an opinion is vs what speculation is vs what a claim is. Everyone these days pretends they are the same thing, and when called out on bogus claims they hide behind the idea they are merely sharing their âopinionâ.

Not sure about Defining Duke, since it is a part of Colinâs group, and they are too officious in their conversations. Matty goes through his list of âto-dosâ and ACG answers them. Not so fun. They have their original format â also running in parallel which is called âH.A.M.â or some such name. They are more at ease there.
Also, look at what happens when you unleash ACG and Iron Lords together. Watch the most recent episode of the Iron Lords Podcast. It is a blast.
You should add Xbox Chaturdays from Windows Central Gaming to the list. Miles Dompier is a force to reckon with. He can even do a solo podcast. He did a solo celebratory podcast last week, and I was just surprised at the energy and how he could easily easily easily carry it off.
Jez Corden is on Windows Two and Miles is on Xbox Chaturdays â now, that is something!
There is Double Barrel Gaming by Boomstick XL. One man doing almost 4 podcasts per week with very entertaining panel members.
I would say one side effect of the Xbox One generation was â that true fans remained and they energized and supported each other through all the consistent hate to create a more robust community. This is showing now. All the podcasts know each other, and deliver very good content. They help each other setup â Boomstick talking to Dealer for advice etc. Playing Halo Tournaments together etc.
The Xbox community is more similar to the Nintendo community in this regard. Very entertaining and healthy and deep conversations.

Looks good. Though, itâs still saddening that the WH40K/GW tabletop franchises are almost dead. I think I still have some Catachan troops lying around, maybe a Leman RussâŚMan, that was a expensive hobby⌠At least the games are thriving and slowly getting better and better.
I think there is potential for a lot more games in that franchise (I dream of a Space Marines game from Coalition) !
