Series S will be a 900p-1080p average machine so I’m not at all surprised they set a more realistic marketing for it. Sure it CAN do 1440p on games, it CAN do 60, but I see few games doing both on it, and that’s fine. Third parties won’t take the full advantage of it, and RT will be a rare occurence to see at 60fps, something only the upcoming Metro Exodus patch will do for now.
Same thing goes for series X and PS5 in many games. 4k is also just upto on those consoles.

I’d beg to differ, and there’s no reason to be reductive. There’s plenty of good conversation in there, especially as the industry as a whole has become acquisition crazy.

I am pretty sure VR support will happen one way to another. I mean Xbox is basically a closed environment PC. Support of PC peripherals probably won’t be difficult to add anyway.

It’s also important to remember that 76 is still slated for a next-gen optimization patch as well, so this could be a stopgap (since this is at system level). I can’t imagine Fallout 4 would be given one as well, but hell who knows not that they’re first-party.
Edit: Correction on the 76 Optimization patch, I misremembered an announcement for ESO and Doom to have included 76. I should hope they would given the rising player counts, but there’s no official mention of it. Thanks to @javycane for the correction.

Question does anybody know when production for fable started? After watching some videos from 2017/2018 and reading some old articles and posts i think they might’ve started hiring in mid 2017 for a "horizon zero dawn style game"and given its being built from the ground up maybe fable is a 2022 holiday game!?
Fable imo started preprod in 2017 and is gonna release mid 2023. Avowed shall release before Fable from the looks of it.

I was wondering about F76 because it is an active game. Good to know it is coming. In regards to Fallout 4, Microsoft owns the studio after all so anything can happen.
