XboxEra Community Hangout |OT| Safe Space no longer required (Part 1)

I believe whatever isnt GDK specific runs on external. If its Gen9 aware it should be good on External.

Is there a list of Gen9 Aware?

Just click file info on the game and it tells you

So it looks like SoT and Halo MCC don’t have to be on the internal storage. Good that likes like 160 Gigs

Does anybody have any recommendations on the Series X expansion card?

It’s still really pricey, but I have no idea how long longer I can hold out. I know different cards are on the way, but damn man, I’m having trouble, especially with MLB 21, Dirt 5 Gamepass, and Resident Evil 8 on the way.

I might just bite the bullet now.

Do you guys remember Condemned? Man the first game was awesome, and what a good launch title. I wish Monolith would go back to games like that.

I ended up just buying it. Worth every dollar. I now have everything on my console with snap fast loading and pulling game installs between the card and console is incredibly quick, also makes putting game installs to @Aetain console easy

In his Thursday Q&A with staff, he pointed specifically to Microsoft’s buying spree and planned acquisition of Bethesda Software later this year as one of the factors that had made Google decide to close the book on original game development.

Damn.

Yeah I bit the bullet. It’s gonna be worth it down the road.

Question:

So when I install the card, is it a separate install location or does it also register as Internal and just gives me more space?

damn they’re even finding troubles integrating they laid off devs into google

I don’t understand the reasoning? Our competitiors is expanding so we give up? I mean, yeah ok.

So am I reading this wrong or is this article implying that Microsoft’s buying spree is still ongoing?

Like they’re calling it quits because Microsoft is still on a buying spree.

They are basically admitting that they were not prepared to spend the kind of cash that Microsoft is, so decided to change their approach. I am not entirely sure though why they seem to have thought they could break into the industry on a relative shoe string budget.

It just goes to show that Microsoft is spending serious cash on gaming and you have a company like Google even getting cold feet.

Yeah, it takes a lot to scare off a behemoth like Google I’d wager. Guess we have more to look forward to in the acquisition department.

Such an awesome game. Truly one of the few games that actually made me scared/uneasy while playing. And the combat was so visceral and satisfying. I’ve been holding out hope we might get to see a Condemned 3 someday.

man salt and sanctuary is a great game. I played that ad code vein today. I feel like these soulsbourne games are my favorite genera. I wish xbox had its own

MS are playing the long game with all these acquisitions, and they are in a better place than any publisher when we enter the future of multiple publisher streaming apps, like we have in film/tv now.

I’m hoping Mortal Shell will come to GP sometime, or in the sale. That looks to be a real nice Souls-like game too.

And whenever they feel like revealing Elden Ring.
