I say “could care less” simply because if I dislike something today, I can always end up hating it tomorrow meaning that I would care less tomorrow than I do today. Simply don’t know until it happens. If I say “couldn’t” that implies that if I dislike something, I can never hate it which makes no sense to me because opinions change everyday and never stays the same.

Couldn’t care less = you care 0%, you can’t care less than not caring.

Nope. It is “could care less” meaning that I could care less than I already do. So for example, if my interest in something is 10% and I say that I could care less, this means that my interest would go below 10% which obviously would be caring even less than I did before. Saying “couldn’t” means that 10% would never decrease below 10% and trust me, there’s a lot of stuff that I have interest in that can always at any time decrease. lmao.

Worthless saying at that interpretation because anywhere from 0.0000000001% all the way to 100% the “could care less” applies.

I am not attacking you, but your argument. You said that you found it “ridiculous” that Bioware would go back and address clear objectification since it was an M rated game. Clearly implying that a mature game by its definition requires it.

I’m probably older than you. First, you don’t know me. Don’t act like you do. Second, objectification of a texture/pologonal character in an interactive video game is a joke. It’s not reality. If you’re taking gaming seriously, you have some serious issues. And yeah, it is funny. The entire situation of the camera angles changing and people bitching about it is funny to me because again, it’s a video game. I don’t take gaming seriously. It’s interactive entertainment. Nothing more, nothing less.

I kinda feel that the objectification of women (or women in any media, be it film, TV or games) is serious though, and not a subject for jest or levity.

Im out here relaxing trying to figure out what to order for dinner and Im getting called somebody that enables misogyny and objectification of women through my arguments. Like what?

If Bioware hadn’t announced they were editing this nobody would had probably noticed or cared. I just found it weird that something that has been accessible for more than a decade is getting edited but I can see why they did it. Its not going to change that Im super excited for the game and probably playing all of them again.

I wish people would tone it down with the personal callouts and blasting people here over disagreements.

It was a topic that I brought up yesterday cause I thought it would get a nice discussion here but that wasn’t the case. Water under the bridge and move on.

The biggest problem with Mirandas ass shots is the context. She is telling you her personal serious family story which you should care about and the camera focuses on her shiny buttocks. Good on Bioware for fixing this.

Thats great wonderful and we agree for that context that shit needs to go. Miranda is beautiful and sexy all across the game but don’t need that ass shot in that moment.

See, now it makes sense. If the character is telling you serious personal shit then obviously, the camera should be focused on her face and her talking to you. This I can agree with 100% because it makes sense and fits the situation in the game.
