If Fable is on track for 2026 release surely it’ll be the headliner for early next year dev direct
Overall it was a decent show for me. Last year was def better.

Also loved that Phil dropped in “new Forza next year” lol - woop!
Also was good to see all platforms listed for games - this “we won’t show other platforms on ads” is just childish so glad someone has stopped it

I would say for me it was just an okay show. Outer Worlds 2 looks great and I’m super pumped for FF on Xbox finally. Other than that, there was mostly a lot of stuff that doesn’t appeal to me personally.
I’d give it a 8/10 because I didn’t get any holy shit moments or updates on the first party games I was most looking forward to.

Some great stuff, was definitely frontloaded. Not really worried about the missing stuff. Decent chance we we’ll see that stuff at one of the many shows this year or next.

Well they werent lying when some people were saying temper your expectations, a few cool things in there but mostly mid. But Phil teasing Fable/E-Day/Forza/secret extra game for next year for their 25th xbox anniversary means they are going to have an amazing Dev Direct/Showcase next year and then maybe? during the holidays teasing their nextbox hardware

That was a massive surprise to me, but maybe it shouldn’t have been since the first was made on a shoestring budget and was pretty big.
Secret game is 100% Halo CE Remake.

Maybe we’ll see it at gamescom. That announcement will probably be paired with a port announcement.

Very cool indeed, we didn’t know it about Gears and Forza (I assume Horizon, right?) but we already knew about Fable.
They didn’t give a new release window when they delayed it, so it can be anything next year. There is Gamescom still, so…maybe.
Forgot about that game till you mentioned it. That one is probably years off still.
Not sure what to think about Plague Tale Resonance. I loved the first two games but a Sophia spinoff wouldn’t have exactly been my first choice.
