Xbox Partner Preview Announced

It looked pretty experimental, I will need to see their deep dive tomorrow (or the next day) on the Capcom show.

I think that game is maybe not full price, but it’s cool they’re making a “weird” game and better they are using GP for it.

that was a good showing. sinking city 2 is a nice surprise.

a bit lame that xbox wire has an article but no link to the store and stalker is nowhere to be found.

Kunitsu-Gami reminds me a lot of Exoprimal in how experimental the design is. I’m guessing these gamepass deals is a way for Capcom’s new blood to take risks, come up with creative ideas and not have to cut that much of a loss.

I say keep it coming. Exoprimal rules and Kunitsu-Gami looks great.

Out of 13 games shown, only 2 games are of interest. Awakening which opened the show and it’s been years since they revealed it. Looks good but have to see more. And the other is Final Fantasy XIV but damn, was hoping for a late Spring/early Summer full release. A few weeks away is surprising.

Honestly, i had a good time with the show. No talking, just giving us game after game.

Am now looking forward to Alters, it was on my radar but now i think we might get a very interesting experience.

Sleight of Hand interested me since i love a stealth based game. This is one ma going to look out for.

Also, Xbox just managed to pull what i think was the funniest thing in the world. Getting the expassion pass of persona 3 reload for those with Game Pass Ultimate for free. This is actually amazing.

Also am definetly liking Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, going to play this day one. I like something different and this is awesome to see.

Really enjoyed Sinking city, there’s a great game at its core. High hopes that this achieves that!

Thanks! I’m grabbing the STALKER collection, always wanted to play it. When I get home I’ll watch the entire show.

Only liked anime souls game and Kunitsu Gami.

R.I.P Project BBQ

Waited for 4 years before it canceled.

Great show, the most weak part of it was the monster truck game. 11 bits games look interesting, but man do I suck at resource management games. Everything else had a very good hook for me.

I hope that Atlus is planning a wave 4 for Persona 3 Reloaded. To give the Kotone/P3P fans some much needed love. I still need to get through Persona 3 Reloaded though and I’m excited for Episode Aigis.

First berserk looks good, I think from the gameplay will be more inspired by Sekiro than Soulslike. It was all those parries and counters in between attacks that brought the thought up for me. Now I just need to actually play Sekiro to get used to the timing in these types of games.

I really enjoyed it, lots of cool titles shown, apart from the Roblox-linked game & the Chucky one. The Alters was my overall highlight and I was surprised by how good Frostpunk 2 looked. I tried a bit of the first one, but bounced of it quick.

There were actually quite a few that interested me here.

Based on other games you previously said you were looking forward to like Ronin & Stellar Blade I thought there were actually quite a few similar type of games like Kunitsu-Gami and the First Beserker.

I’m really intrigued by Unknown 9 and Sleight of hand.

Gami though is souls like, has tower defense and turn based strategy in it. Stellar Blade is basically Nier Automata/DMC style so no issues there and Ronin while souls like does have difficulty levels and yes, I will be playing it on pansy (easy) mode. lol

Basically, if Gami stayed like the beginning where it’s real time action combat, I would have probably been all in but the other gameplay elements simply don’t appeal to me at all.

Unknown 9 was revealed years ago and I forgot about it so it was nice to see it get re-revealed here and Bandai Namco is publishing which is cool. The Sleight game sounds good but I need to see actual gameplay and what the loop is.

I was catching up the stream a few hours later, avoiding the spoilers, which is something I never do, as I would just watch the individual trailers instead…

And WOW, I’m glad I did ! That STALKER trilogy port annoucement got me up from my seat. It catched me offguard. It was brilliant ! Really glad it didn’t leak, even though there were rumors last year of a controller update on PC.

I can’t believe I’m playing STALKER on Xbox with a controller and it’s actually playable. Mind blown ! I’ve never clicked so fast on a BUY button. 40€ is so cheap for these 3 classic games.

Did they stand the test of time? I’ve never played them.

Also, I’m reading on Twitter that apparently it’s only 20 on PS Store. But that can’t be right?

More and more are jumping in (get it?) to showcase their game(s). It’s working.

Probably a pricing error. It’s 20€ each and 40€ for the 3 games. Anyway, it’s a bargain.

It’s really really oldschool FPS with clunky menus and random shots. It’s a spray and pray type of gameplay and you can die very fast if you’re not paying attention.

But it’s a classic, although it depends a lot on your familiarity and/or interest in the genre. STALKER was pretty much the first FPS in an open areas sandbox that work. Every character as a name and purpose. Characters can die from anomalies or enemy creatures like stray dogs or monsters. It was pretty advanced in its simulation and kind of crazy at the time. And I think it still is…
