Sorry for a undoubtedly noob question, but my VR knowledge is…doesn’t go far. Can you just use this or do you need a PC for it to hook it up too? Because if not, that is not bad at all.

This is a solo system that can wirelessly connect to a PC if you want. It’s essentially a mobile phone chip so games look ok but not great in it. The 3S has the older lenses of the Quest 2 but is Quest 3 in most other ways

Oooh I see. That explains the lower price point then.
I was wondering if this would let me play Half Life Alyx without a PC, so I looked it up but nope, PC is needed for it. For RE7 too it seems. I really still do want to experience at least those two games in VR some day. But I can’t justify buying it for just a few games.
Well a much better headset that can handle these games without a PC, that is.
This seems extremely limited. My local Best Buy only has 2. So considering Best Buy is the only retailer that carries this, that’s kinda insane.
I think this will end up being very rare.
Well I bought it. Couldn’t let such a rare Xbox item slip past me. If it turns out to not be very limited then I might return it, but for now I feel like I got 1 just to be safe.

It’s not available in Australia, but I might order one and have it sent to MyUS, a parcel forwarder.
Edit: VPN works- was able to navigate to the Meta site annd put one in a bag.

This is Sold Out already by the way. Kinda cool that I now have this super rare Xbox item. I’m not much of a collector so definitely the rarest Videogame item I own. I wonder how many they made? I will just wildly speculate that they only made 5-10,000 of these.

I see it back up on Best Buy here in the US
It has an odd ship date of July 10. Its one of those situations where definetly order it but dont be surprised if the order gets cancelled. I used to run a deal site and follow SlickDeals religously I`d say theres a 90% chance that Best Buy order is getting cancelled.

The Xbox Meta Quest 3s is still available at Best Buy … It’s not as rare as I thought 
I will say my kid loves it though. No regrets about the purchase . He plays VR pretty much every day.
