I find it funny that you saw an ad from Microsoft for Starfield, an important Xbox exclusive, an ad from Nintendo for Zelda, an important Switch exclusive, and an ad from Sony for…the next version of FIFA.

I thought this too haha. I can only assume that we’re slightly too soon for the full Spider-Man marketing blow out.
Do any of those food promotions include anything cool for the game? I’m a sucker for that stuff.
Starfield doesn’t have any MTX or anything like that so I don’t think those products would have anything for the game but if there were any clothing or food items that you can now craft, that would be pretty cool.
Oh yeah I went to a CVS and bought mine however. The code doesn’t work until October 8. Xbox is back with it’s marketing!!
Website doesn’t load yet but I kinda suspect they’ll have something for it that you add to your Xbox account and it adds in game. But who knows

I’ve seen promotions of EA Sports FC 24 with Xbox Series consoles. That’s a first (since the 360)…
Speaking of, does anyone know when EA FC’s marketing deal with Sony ends? Microsoft potentially snapping them up to go alongside CoD after their Sony deal expires this year, combined with being able to promote any first party stuff on Game Pass as it releases could prove to be quite huge and help sell people in Xbox who aren’t currently in the ecosystem.
Don’t think EA would let go of Playstation marketing, the brand is tight associated with football and Europe, but maybe they could make it less exclusive and Xbox can promote it jointly, and the fact that I’m seeing Xbox branded promotions probably means it’s already so?
