This is one reason why digital is better than live in person events because live, you’ll have so many people knowing everything and it only takes one person to leak it all.
I’m going into the showcase with low expectations based on 2022 which was massively disappointing for me. Realistically, tomorrow’s showcase should be better than 2022 but I have to wait and see if it matches or surpasses 2021 which gave me 9 games.
Even if people here are disappointed or whatever, that shouldn’t affect you since you’re already happy with Starfield and FM alone. Anything else for you should probably be considered a bonus.
It was going to be pizza, but I was tired and didn’t want to make dinner last night, so I got pizza.
Not sure what Im going to do now.

While the PlayStation Showcase disappointed me and is my lowest rated showcase this generation, Summer Game Fest gave me 8 games which I wasn’t expecting so overall, pretty decent for what is Keighley’s secondary show of the year.
I have seen mixed reception though more close to positive. Games I liked, the flow I didn’t.
YouTube premieres are normally limited to 1080p. Hopefully they got the ability from YouTube to go to 4k with them

And why Xbox doesn’t bother to make its own stream possible. I have seen many other MS events live on there own websites with far better bit rates

No idea. Ms can easily do their stream on theur website snd just give other outlet access.
The pacing during SGF was meh but at the same time, is it really a surprise? I have seen Keighley’s shows since June 2020 and if you’ve seen just one of them, you should already know the format and what you’re getting out of it. The Game Awards is the same but will usually have the bigger reveals and whatnot as it’s the far bigger show in general and for Keighley.

Not afraid to think that this show will be the best Xbox show ever up to this point in Xbox’s history, this all started in 2018 when they started acquiring, the pandemic slowed things down but it’s been enough time now where a lot of their studios should be able to show what they’ve been doing all these years, wouldn’t be surprised if most of those games announced in 2019/20 all show up with game trailers and gameplay, most curious about Avowed because it will be interesting to see what Obsidian can do with full Microsoft backup and a bigger budget and Unreal Engine 5. The only thing that would make this moment even more special for me would be if 343i had been able to get things right from the start and Halo was in a great place right now because I would be freaking ecstatic if they were to announce a campaign DLC here, which I know isn’t happening now, also hoping to see an announcement of Compulsion’s game.
And I say up to this point because we will get some truly amazing shows in the future with Elder Scrolls 6, Doom, Perfect Dark, Halo return eventually, Forza Horizon 6 etc, Xbox might be about to enter it’s golden age, be excited folks.

Close to 24 hours before the show and I got spoiled, get off of everything till tomorrow if you really want to avoid getting spoiled.

At this point I don’t think we get spoiled at all or 2h before the show.
I mean Jez said few weeks ago that Xbox fixed their leak problem.

Well I came across a pretty big spoil on reddit and it seems like it’s true, not a surprise though so it’s fine, I imagine people over at the spoils thread are talking about it.
