Maybe they just haven’t set anything up yet, as the E3 venue isn’t around and it doesn’t need to be ready ahead of time.
I guess that’s possible, but isn’t it a bit short notice?
Weekend isn’t here yet. They have time.
True true.
It would be cool, but if not, ah well.
Well, it’s safe to assume Lies of P and Party Animals won’t show up at the Xbox Showcase.
Considering that some of the third party Xbox day one Game Pass games had their release date set on SGF, I have a feeling that the Showcase will be mostly first party, I was even wondering for days how they would be able to give room to everyone in 90 minutes because its very possible that the E3 2020 games will be shown + new projects, and they could take minutes of showing each.
Curious: If all first-party showing in Sunday is only from announced titles and no new game announcement, will you be satisfied?
I would be very ok with that, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they do show more gameplay of P.
I think the game sold itself fine today, especially with demo out now. If it does, fine.
I know this is the Xbox show but I feel it’s worth mentioning what was a SGF and getting expectation in check.
Heres what I wrote down from SGF (I fall asleep at one point).

Overall for me 2/10. Alan wake & space marine. Some other interesting games like MK1 but I didn’t need to see it for that long. Also Geoff did a terrible job with that closer imo. He hyped it as if it was GTA. If it matters I gave the Sony show a 4/10.
As for expectation i don’t think Xbox has to do much for me to prefer their show over the others. Avowed, Hellblade, Forza, starfield, age of empires & Fable with some GaaS updates is a win.
Well the hopes some had that Xbox would “off load” their GaaS updates (like Halo Season 4) at SGF were wrong. Makes sense to me though. 90 minutes is a lot of time, so yeah we are getting updates on all the GaaS games at the Xbox show which is fine imo.
I’m wondering what third parties will be at Xbox’s show then
Based on the leaks Persona Remake and potentially the other spin off seems like a lock since it wasn’t at SGF
Maybe some other Sega stuff like the Jet Set Radio reboot
Cyberpunk DLC? that’s supposed to be this year right?
Does make me wonder how First Party dominated this show will be
I just realized. Geoff did 12 months stunt that Xbox did last year. That’s…funny.
My guess for the showcase:
Fable
State of Decay 3
Avowed
Everwild
Outer Worlds 2
Hellblade 2
Project Mara
InXile Game
Compulsion Game
Forza
Indiana Jones/Wolfenstein 3
Stalker 2
Replaced
HiFi Rush DLC
Halo Infinite Season 4
Sea of Thieves new content
Fallout 76 new expansion
Cyberpunk dlc
Elden ring dlc
Persona 3 Reload
Roundhouse Game?
Zenimax Online Game?
Jet Set Radio ?
Persona 5T?
Persona 6?
Crazy Taxi ?
Like a Dragon 8?
Armored Core?
DBZ Tenkaichi 4?
I’ll laugh a bit if the majority of the third party turnout is just Sega/Atlus’s entire lineup lmao
Pretty telling on their relationship if true though. Welcome to the fan club along with Bandai Namco and perhaps Capcom if Exoprimal does well.
Im thinking Paradox will get a nice spot. Xbox and them are real tight.
Wont be surprised to see CDPR and EA there too.
Don’t mind EA though no more Immortals. Please…
Tempering expectations I see
so much for phantom liberty being at sgf.
it’s definitely going to be at xbox show.
