Indeed, I know what you are talking about, it’s one of the reasons why I dropped it at some point. Same with BK and BT, I much prefer BK, less collectathon and backtracking crap compared to BT.

That final boss was a piece of shit though. Whole game is easy going, nothing too crazy at all. Final boss appears, or well, the phases of the final boss and difficulty spike goes up like holy shit. I dropped it.

Impossible Lair is a great game indeed, loved that game.
Playtonic and Sumo Digital are both very talented studios that could make an awesome Banjo game IMO.

Yeah, Sumo is really good. I was actually expecting Microsoft or Sony to acquire them but instead, they were acquired by Tencent.
It was really good. But for me, way too easy and simplistic. Good kids game though. Hehe.
Why not? You don’t think that they can have a new trailer for them? I would like to think that they can have a 2 minute or so gameplay trailer just to show people what it looks like and whatnot. I’m hoping both get a short gameplay trailer at the Showcase. I’ll be very happy.

At least a small teaser for Indiana Jones would make a lot of sense, given the movie release.
Only question is if they have something they feel is worth showing at this point in time.

I already know how this is going to go. People will build it up to impossible levels of hype. There will be a solid show with loads of great games shown. Everyone will be happy. Then slowly they will read the narrative on forums elsewhere that will try and pick holes in games so they ‘don’t count’ or aren’t ‘perfect’ and then they will revert to the usual misery.

When Jez said that the output of the ps5 show will be “Doom and Gloom for xbox”, I do not think he says that the show will be great, what I think he implies is that “no matter the content”, the narratives are already written.
I guess he could mean that Sony has deals for some games and they aren’t coming to Xbox anytime soon, or ever? That could cause Doom and gloom for Xbox and its players too I guess.

I hope we don’t get the same meltdown we got last year when KOTOR Remake got lockdown as a PS exclusive. I hope both Playstation and Xbox has really good shows because I just wanna see great games and mindblowing graphics. Each side will have their exclusives

I am fully expecting Sony to have made some deals that will piss off Xbox only gamers. It’s not gonna stop at Konami remakes. It’s just yet another reason to become a multiplatform gamer. Well, I already am with a Switch.

That’s the answer. I’ve always owned both consoles but favour xbox because I like the controller and feel it’s more user friendly. However, I think if you have the disposable income to own both, then do it. I know gaming is an expensive hobby, but your mind is at ease when you don’t have to worry about missing out on games due to timed/full exclusives.

If you get annoyed at games skipping Xbox because of playstation moneyhats, just make the best decision you can, get a pc/gaming laptop or build one. The pc market has grown too big to be ignored and playstation isnt really money hatting to keep things off of pc. Even playstations first party exclusives will be on pc. Xbox fully supports PC and will to. If you want it in your living room, just hook it up to your living room tv, computers arent the space eater they once were. There is absolutelu no need to own a playstation and an xbox when one device will suffice and give you a bunch of other capabilities that a console will not.

At that point you might as well leave console gaming then because a gaming PC makes xbox redundant imo.
Yes, I agree, if you are concerned about missing out on games, owning a console is not a wise decision and one that you shouldnt make. Owning either just a playstation or just an xbox will leave you annoyed. Simply get out of console gaming and get a pc/gaming laptop instead.
I think major thing is many love couch gaming and don’t want to look at a computer for the whole day. I think cost wise it’s cheaper to get a PS5 and Xbox Series X or S. Anyways, it’s most likely getting a bit OT due to thread, but I think it’s best to either get both consoles or build a gaming PC. I feel gaming laptops do have their limitations and can be very costly and tougher tougher to upgrade
