I’m thinking it will be a 2 minute in engine trailer. Showcasing the art style, some landscapes, towns, enemies etc.

Very solid line up for core gamers. However the absence of PD, Fable, Everwild could give media some opportunities to criticize Xbox. But yeah they can always find a perspective to do so.

unless the quote is coming from the horse mouth aka dev or xbox employees, always take those ‘insiders’ words with a S ton of salt. i don’t wanna hear the famous ‘plans has changed’ excuses after the showcase.

Xbox themselves hyped up fable being there. To me its not a much of a spoiler. Avowed and fable exist. So saying theyre in the showcase doesnt spoil anything unless someone leaks the footage.
What i wouldnt want leaked is something like a scalebound or new vegas 2. That would be a surprise killer

That’s a very strong list indeed. I’m very excited to see “Project Midnight” (Compulsion’s game) after seeing the concept art a few months back, I got a Cajun God of War vibe. It also helps that they are based out of my home town of Montreal.

If Avowed and Hellblade 2 have pure gameplay trailers along with Starfield (which im counting as part of the showcase) and Forza Motorsport, that’s already on paper extremely close to surpassing 2022 for me. If Fable has a trailer similar to The Witcher 3 at Microsoft’s E3 2013 event but without the presence of the human element (lol) -
If Playground Games shows Fable off like that where it’s showing you the world and what it looks like, I will be very happy. Also, while I prefer realistic visuals, im not expecting that so im hoping Playground Games copies Fable Legends because watching that game the other day, it still looks pretty damn good.
Add in Compulsion’s new game reveal and that already matches last year for me. If they can give me a few more games, even better.

I doubt they would go for realism, that is not what Fable is about.

That’s a very strong first party showing but so many people are expecting Fable there now so unless those games show extremely well they will whine because of the lack of Fable
Id be amazed if fable isnt shown. Clearly perfect dark isnt ready but avowed and fable have been in development long enough to be shown
Hellblade is a certainty.
That just leaves a few others and unannounced games
I doubt they go for realism too so im hoping for the art style/visuals to be like Fable Legends but better.

It’s crazy how good Fable Legends looked on the vanilla Xbox One. I remember being blown away seeing it running on my TV the first time. Gameplay wise was nothing to write home about but was serviceable for the kind of game it was. Shame it was never officially released.
I expect PG Fable to be gorgeous after seeing what they’ve been doing for years with Forza. It’s the combat/magic system that I am curious about the most.
I still say Dragon’s Dogma is the best game to take inspiration from when it comes to that. Mystic Knight was basically the Fable Hero.

What if we end up getting a Fallout New Vegas Remake based on the Fallout 4 mod…
That team hasn’t made a large news update for the mod for a very long time (over 2 years), what if they were approached by Microsoft to simply make the game official?

Doubt it. Engine’s too old and that’s too many resources to waste on a mod like that when you could have someone in-house to do it.
New Vegas like RDR is a very complicated piece of software.
Which is why a sequel makes far more sense

Obsidian is making Outer Worlds 2 for some reason when noone asked for it so who knows.
Probably another dev. Bethesda have MS money now to branch out other dev studios under the Bethesda name.

I feel like the stuff other people consider leaks nobody here is that concerned with. Like people suggesting Fable or Avowed will be there.
