Yeah the Gears prequel came out of left field. Nobody knew about that. Shinobi602 said we weren’t ready for Gears 6, so wtf was he talking about?
Also, no Gears Collection, BS after all then? But a prequel sounds awesome though, a younger Marcus and Dom? Let’s go!

Despite all the games shown my my favorite game trailer was expedition 33 but so many good trailers all around. I never liked the original perfect dark but this one looked amazing. I didn’t like fable 2 and 3 but I’m all in on this one. Fallen feathers also was good and I’m excited for south of midnight gears but doom ooh man:. Now let’s see if Ryan grills Phil spencer

That was a great show.
I thought this show was spectacular. I only saw one game that abjectly ‘missed’, and that was the hero-based card shooter. Beyond that, every title I saw I was very very happy with. A solid 9/10 show for me, if not 9.5.
The only things I was hoping for that I didn’t see:
No Oblivion/FO3 remaster 
No Final Fantasy megaton announcement (either XVI, or VII R coming to Xbox).

Yeah, I want to apologize to others that were saying take what these insiders say with a grain of salt. So much of cap with all of them like what were most of these guys talking about? There’s never accountability when they get stuff wrong

Amazing show, amongst the best I’ve seen. The amount of gamepass content coming is also just crazy. I would have like to have seen a little more from Japanese developers, but it was still a really great and diverse lineup of games.

Yep excellent showcase - South of Midnight looked way more polished than We Happy Few, Flight Sim 2024 looked even more real than the current one and looked like it’ll finally become a “game” that you can really do stuff in, Fable, Perfect Dark, Avowed and Indy all looked great and Gears E Day is a great idea as a prequel to differentiate the world and give new players an easy way in.
The third party reveals looked great too, Life is Strange and AtomFall in particular, plus Stalker, and was surprised they got MGS3 and AC Shadows.
Some of my longer shots turned up, literally just FH6 was my stretch hope, and maybe a new controller - but I think FH6 will come next year (FH5 is still kicking ass) and we’ve got Test Drive coming anyway, and Final Fantasy 16 would probably be a bit later in the year if it comes (maybe GamesCom) and a new controller doesn’t need a showcase anyway.
Overall, amazing show and there are a LOT of new games I’m looking forward to now!
