Xbox Game Studios |OT9| How many games would a game studio make if a game studio could make games?

Call of Duty absolutely looks like Call of Duty. The most Call of Duty ever.

FPS are undeniably superior with a mouse, it’s not even close. It becomes a little bit more fair for controllers with console oriented games like Halo and CoD which aren’t precision shooters and have some secondary gameplay mechanics that don’t require aiming, along aim assist, and yet still mouse aiming will remain superior. Presicion shooters like CSGO and Valorant literally won’t work on controllers for 99% of people, I say this because there are still very professional gamers out there who manage to be crazy using controllers but they are the rare exception.

So are we just considering everything from ABK as Xbox Game Studios already? Was a tad confused about some of the posts

Playing with a mouse and keyboard makes me feel like I’m moving things around on a screen. Playing with a controller is much more immersive.

Yeah I questioned it at first but then I think I’m just gonna go along with it lol. Fake it till you make it :phil_lmao:

I don’t know about. Personally it is never immersive for me. Unless it is Skyrim with mods :joy: Was funny seeing Skyrim at TGS again after all these years

Skyrim will never die! hehe

I just realized that once MW2 and other CoD games that get played online regularly get added to Game Pass it’s going to get crowded as hell.

All the people that have stopped buying these games, like me will all go online and try it out. I wonder if the servers are going to handle it, haha.

How about bringing back things that were in every Forza Horizon before: Alfa Romeo and Lancia. Pretty please.

I guess Sony locking up a special character for CoD MW2 IS good for gamers, right? As long as it is on their platform. This kind of stuff just irritates me and makes me wish MS did NOT offer any feature and content parity. Keep them guessing.

Maybe Xbox can have a exclusive character for Overwatch 2 or Diablo 4, I would say two can play that game.

You have to laugh when you read people blaming him and saying he’s lying when he says he wants to reach more gamers just because he doesn’t release these games on PS5. Specially when you see games like Forza Horizon 5 reaching 25M after 9 months.

Like what can be the Starfield, or even TES6 numbers be, even if these release on less platforms than Skyrim.

Yeah… Locking content in third party multiplat games is just wrong. I hate it, there is no point to it and absolutely zero advantage for gamers on any platform. Sony has done it for a long time and it’s one of the many reasons I despise that company.

They always do their best to live up to the image of a slimy corporation.

Well at least so far it appears there isn’t any gameplay mode exclusive, just cosmetic stuff.

Nah. MS won’t do that. They will ensure parity like they do with Minecraft. At the end of the day, petty is not necessarily good business and doesn’t build goodwill. There’s plenty of layers to ABK that will grow Xbox without the need to be petty.

I would also like to point that Phil mentions “exclusives” sometimes negatively in regards to device exclusives, not ecosystem exclusives. He still views Nintendo and Sony as platform holders that practice device exclusivity where you need a specific $300+ device to play the games (Sony is getting a little bit better there though, but not quite there), relative to them with ecosystem exclusivity where you can play the games on the $300+ machines, a PC, or any relatively modern browser enabled device for as low as $15, on the same day, no delay, no double dipping.
