Xbox Game Studios |OT9| How many games would a game studio make if a game studio could make games?

Looks like Halo Infinite might not be at Gamescom.

I don’t think we will hear anything about halo until it is ready. It will be XO or maybe separate halo event with forge, BR and so on

Was it expected to be there ?

I mean, it wasn’t even at E3 lol. I figure they’ll show it whenever the hell the have something to show.

Yeah, I don’t expect anything from 343 this year at any games show.

I wasn’t expecting it there but it would have been great to see Halo Infinite at Gamescom since it would definitely help the game getting a look at Forge as well as the new BR mode. And if there is additional content such as new maps, modes, or events.

It wasn’t but it would have been great for the game for it to be at a big event such as Gamescom.

I mean, they got forge and the BR - they COULD show stuff. I think they’re in a “let’s keep our heads down until we’re ready to really start hitting our stride” phase so once they DO hit it they can really just start pushing everything hard.

If i were spencer i wouldn’t show shit. Let the haters hate and when games are ready to be shown, show them.

got 20 hours into Valhalla and quit. I can’t be dealing with this. I lasted 40 hours in Odyssey and that was only due to Kassandra. Origins I beat because of the Ancient Egypt setting and I enjoyed it…but these open world AC games I’m done with. Like I won’t even bother with the next one unless they do something extraordinary like Japan. Even then I’m skeptical because Ghost of Tsushima I didn’t beat either.

I was very tolerant of Origins and Odyssey’s bloat but yeah Valhalla went too far.

The setting didn’t help. I have 0 interest in that time period or setting and yes I’m from England. Even when you get to England… I mean I much prefer Syndicates time period.

Finally finished Fallout 4 for the first time.

The world exploration was top notch as usual, the combat was surprisingly fun ? The original soundtrack is awesome too, not quite Skyrim but it’s very charming in its own way.

Everything else was kinda a negative for me. Easily the worst storyline I’ve played from BGS, rpg mechanics were surprisingly shallow which was a shame. It’s pretty comfortably last in my main game Fallout rankings. (Mild hot take but I think Fallout 76 will age better than FO4)

All I have left to play from BGS is Morrowind ! Should be a fun experience. :joy:

People are gonna kill me but…Fallout 76 to me feels like a combinations between the best of 3 (roleplay options) and the best of 4 (gunplay and gameplay)

To me they just need to, obviously, amp the graphics aspect, change the card system (or let it be something complementary to the system in Fallout 3 and New Vegas) and add at least a coherent story and there you have the perfect Fallout 5.

It might be last CoD for which we might see such stats. Once it came to Gamepass, player engagement will be everything.

It is amazing to see just how Gamepass changes the perspective and outlook of the industry.

Today’s most relevant figures won’t be as much relevant tomorrow.

If anything, they did actually announced the release date last year at gamescom :slightly_smiling_face:

We’ve got info on a lot of the studios and what they are making. But we have nothing on the coalition.

All we know is that they have a project before gears 6. There is no way these insiders don’t know what it is but know what every other studio is making.

I have a feeling that High on Life game is going to be mid

Why’s that? E3 trailer looked damn cool and funny.

I think it will be either high 70s or low 80s.

Top 5 Xbox/PC titles for 2022/2023 for me:

  1. Starfield
  2. Pentiment
  3. Stalker 2
  4. Forza Motorsport
  5. Avowed/Fable/Perfect Dark/Everwild/Hellblade II??? Not sure if any of these games will make it to 2023
