What makes you think Indiana Jones is gonna be open-world?
Isn’t Nanite delivering on the dream and promise of megatextures?
No, I mean for some reason when think about UE5 I think open world. I guess in my mind I was thinking of the next Witcher and then for some reason thought that Indiana Jones is gonna be open world. I think it is gonna follow Tomb Raider or Uncharted structure. But who knows.
Tomb Raider and Uncharted are very different structures. I prefer Tomb Raider, I love its structure very much and would be better for Indy than straight up linearity or open-world.

I’m hoping for Indiana Jones to be a Tomb Raider like game with different maps/regions and be wide linear at most. In no way, shape or form should Indiana Jones be open world. At most, it should be similar to Rise/Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

I really hope so. If it does this year is going to be insane in terms of announcements.
No wonder Bethesda wanted to have a separate announcement. Imagine deep dive into Starfield, deep dive into Redfall, Zenimax Online game announcement, Indiana Jones game announces, Gaas Updates…

It would be cool to see Xbox do their own Animal Crossing game. I’m not not sure how it would work whether they use Viva Piñata or make an entirely new IP. But with how successful ACNH has been for Nintendo I think Microsoft should try to explore something similar.
I agree. I do think that the main showcase should be combined but I also wouldn’t mind seeing Bethesda having their own showcase as well with a deep dive on those games as well as additional announcements such as Indiana Jones, Zenimax Online, Wolfenstein 3, etc.
Thank god for translate option on Twitter. One guy says its concept art from the game and another says it isn’t, it’s just general artwork. I lean towards the latter because those aren’t exactly reliable sources. Wish it was legit from the game though.
I’m especially not getting my hopes up for the game to be at either show this summer.
Maybe eventually they will bring something from Pacific Rift into Warzone too.

Well, that sucks. Oh well. I’m not expecting Indiana Jones to be shown this year at all. In fact, I believe that it has another year to go before being revealed.

Hahaha. No chance of that happening and honestly, I wouldn’t want that to be the case because if a major AAA licensed game is dropping the day the game is revealed, im expecting a bad or worse game.
There has been like… Some good games that have had surprise releases?.. Right? 
Maybe Indies and whatnot but AAA? No way. At least not that I know of. Hell, I don’t even think an AA game dropped the same day a revealed being good has ever happened. So basically, I would say only Indies can pull this off.
