Paramount+ Halo episode 1 was great. I’m curious as to where the series is going to go.

Every Halo fan should be watching it right now

And fantastic indie gems like the artful escape or deaths door

Never had the impresion that there were more first person games on the service or that they were xboxs focus

Fable will be first person because of logic here.

Hold on, wasn’t it already pretty much confirmed that Perfect Dark is first person?

The sales of TEW 1 and 2 have little to do with the direction he is taking the studio in.

It’s about XGS. But still, yeah.

I want to see the timeline where Fable and Indiana Jones are first person games that are 90+ bangers too

I just want to see the specific hot takes

Oh in that case…when every COD and future CODs come to the service…

I remember people saying it was first person but all those people are gone. I haven’t seen Gallagher say it and Crystal Dynamics is a third person game development studio. Why bring them in if it wasn’t going to be third person? Sure, he has a shit ton of connections and history there but getting a more established first person game development studio out there would probably be a better idea, wouldn’t it? Have to wait and see but Gallagher/CD do third person games and Perfect Dark can be an easy MGS/SC replacement with the stealth and gadgets. If it’s first person, is anyone really going to care or get invested in Joanna Dark when you never see her while playing? I don’t know. It’s also a reboot which should be changing stuff as opposed to keeping it the same because at that point, why reboot it? May as well be Perfect Dark 3 then.

I simply disagree. If TEW 1 and 2 were critically acclaimed and sold great, why would they change? That makes no sense. You don’t change at what you excel at.

I will take any bet that if either or both are first person that neither will even crack an 80 with 100+ reviews on Open Critic.

I want that to hurry up. Been wanting BO2 but it’s near full price still :phil_unsure:

The highest rated WRPG (Skyrim) is first person.

The highest rated Bethesda studios and games since last gen (88-90 range) were first person

True but you mentioned Fable and Indiana Jones. Skyrim has nothing to do with either of these two games.

It was announced as first person a year ago so any hope that it is third person is pretty far fetched at this point. All that same logic was given before the game was announced as first person and it was still first person. You think the studio head is losing that battle?

You implied that they couldn’t be 80+ games if they’re first person games :giphy: which is baseless and I just provided counter evidence

Gallagher never said it was first person and even if by chance he did, he could always change it if it wasn’t working. Gallagher convinced Microsoft to bring in Crystal Dynamics which is owned by another publisher that’s based in Japan to work on the game and be the lead studio which they are. Gallagher has all the power and control. His resume speaks for itself. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the first gameplay trailer in third person. Wouldn’t be shocked at all.

You provided evidence from a decade old game that’s already been determined. Funny part is that Skyrim IS the last first person game to win overall game of the year. 8 out of 10 is third person. 1 is fixed camera in TWD and 1 was Isometric with It Takes Two.

Fable and Indiana Jones hasn’t even had gameplay shown so comparing them to Skyrim is irrelevant because you’re basing it on a decade old game that was already decided.

Indiana Jones wont get 90+ even if its 3rd person . Its gonna get compared to uncharted 4 and you can imagine the rest .

In the article… He clearly states that he doesn’t want Tango to be just known for horror games. He also did not say they won’t ever make a survival horror game again. Did you read the article? It has nothing to do with sales of TEW games.
