I think being located in Montreal and being rated as a great place to work makes sense why devs are jumping ship. Also unsure if Ubisoft Montreal is similar to Toronto, but I know Ubisoft Toronto has trouble keeping employees due to salary and culture
It used to reconnect but after like 3 minutes or more but still not be fully connected (missing banners and no access to shop) Glad it’s fixed now.
I cannot wait to see Project Midnight.
I really really hope it’s Compulsions “Zero Dawn” moment in which they get catapulted into the limelight with something that just straight up blows people away.
Listen, I’m all for optimism but this is skipping a few steps (years) and isn’t really comparable. The more comparable to HZD would be Fable by PG. It involves a shift in genre and game design known from the studios, but the studios made quality AAA games before.
For Compulsion, they need to make a quality AAA game first, that’s all I want from them in their first game for Xbox. I also don’t think it’s gonna be a shift in genre or game type comparable to FPS > TP AA Open World, or Racing Open World > TP ARPG Open World
The expectations for Compulsion should imo be that they go from 5-6/10 to 8/10
Ehhh… Let’s not pretend that Guerrila was really hittin home runs with KZ3 and Shadow Fall.
I never played KZ2, but KZ1, 3 and Shadows Fall were kind of okay-to-bad.
2 & 3 were good and got great reviews, remember them selling well enough too (I prefer 3 actually). Shadowfall was okay. Yeah, less consistency before HZD but still proven in AAA quality.
Interesting, I didn’t know KZ3 had around a 83/84 meta. Interesting, I remember a few places scoring it quite low.
Not a big fan of quake either, but maybe they’ll make one like they made Doom into something awesome. Absolutely expecting a great campaign here.
I don’t understand why people don’t like Quake
I liked 3’s gameplay and graphics, was really fun. But Characters and Story we’re pretty forgettable, to be honest I cant recall what happened really. Also Killzone has one of the worst enemy designs ever. Glowy red eyes? Seriously?
I feel we will be seeing the game getting announced this year since there is a reasonable chance their next game has been in full development for over 2 years now.
Quake has the chance of filling the void of a good BF like game.
Large scale battles, with vehicles and stuff. Making another Doom, with highspeed action would be boring. Also add a multiplayer component to it, with classes and vehicles.
Quake is going to go quadruple tinfoil if they don’t bring anything new to the table.
id’s new game isn’t Quake.
It’s a hyper-violent 3rd person action-platformer similar to Conker starring a duck.
It’s called Quack
The Marvel game Xbox fans deserve
It could work.
Lots of people seem excited for this souls hacker game. That’s pretty awesome
I’m super excited for the future of all Studios under the XGS banner, especially for next year ,when MS remembers that the first half of the year exists
2023 could be the year shit changes for Xbox, going into 2023 after Starfield high could be insane momentum.
