I don’t know if any exclusivity happened or what really motivated this decision to search for a MH like game, it’s just plausible that exclusivity was one of the reasons.
Looking back at Sony’s behaviour and looking forward to the need of an answer to MS’s acquisitions, the chances rises. I don’t want it to be true and also believe that the price for exclusivity for a game like this would be extremely high, so Sony would have to have an extreme reason for it… Like the AB acquisition.
Anyway we’ll see what happens.

Yeah we are all speculating at this point, exclusivity for MH would be weird though since the game did great in almost every platform. Of course we live in crazy and weird times so nothing is impossible (even a Sony buyout), that being said if Sony buys Capcom then I’ll have a reason to buy a PS5 at least because right now their system is nowhere near the top of my to buy list.

I agree it’s a possibility and more likely even, I hope this is the actual case.
But like @Fiendflag said, these are weird times and Sony in need of an answer to MS in some way, might lead them to more exclusivity deals.

They can’t possibly cram it all in a 90 minutes show. Unless they now plan to make Gamescom shows actually worthwhile.
They have now done several streams for FH5 and SoT, that format is good. Keep that format to show off new games.

Anyone here a Flight Sim player?
I have stopped playing a while ago because of my slow internet connection, and last I checked Flight Sim on console didn’t have the Manual Cache option that allowed you to download selected areas for offline play in high quality assets. Did that change now?
