Blizzard do not make technical slaps because they want their games to work everywhere and on all types of configuration but they compensate for this lack with their universes which are unrivaled to date (except by Bethesda and League of Legends perhaps) but Blizzard has probably the best art team in the whole industry, the best chara designers, they have a phenomenal story telling team. That’s why everyone gets excited when they hear about a new Blizzard Universe (that’s kind of what Todd Howard says with Starfield…they’re not just making a game, they’re making a universe integer ) and that takes a lot of time.
I Think This New Blizzard Survival Game Will Be Amazing.

Man NGL, a “Trade in your Xbox One for a Series S or 1/2 off a Series X” would do gangbusters.
Or might at least clear out those Series S in the Podunk MAGALand Walmart that are still there.

Actually now that I think of it… I think a Minecraft RTS as a “Baby’s Frist RTS” could really work.
I mean they just bought Blizzard and have Oxide in dev with a console AoE IV coming.
Yeah, I’m thinking StarMineCraft.
What is a core loop of a RTS but somewhat Minecraft like?
Gather resouces (wood/diamonds/redstone)
Build things (villages, forts)
Then send out units.
Isn’t MW2 this year? 
But man, imagine the possibilities of CoD actually becoming great again. I was in love with the first MW, man we played that mofo to death and the SP was awesome. Black Ops 1 is the last one I fully played and years later with Xbox One we decided to give Advanced Warfare a chance, I thought the SP was fun. But man, I have many campaigns to catch up to when they hit Game Pass, damn.
But a break for that franchise, having the right studio on it, giving it the time it needs can do wonders for it. I’d love to have a actually worthwhile CoD again.

Shit…you’re right. Oh well. Would have preferred MW 2 to be current generation only because based on leaks, the campaign sounds real good.
I haven’t played many COD campaigns. MW Remastered, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, WWII and MW 2019 are the campaigns I played. I am however waiting for Black Ops Cold War from GameFly. Hoping to get it tomorrow. Vanguard is of no interest to me.
Advanced Warfare was real good as was Infinite Warfare. Those were my top two out of the 5 I completed. Agree with what you say about having the right studio and all that.
I think it should be Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games because Treyarch have actually done other games that aren’t COD where as Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games haven’t so unless either don’t want to do COD anymore, they would be the two studios I keep on COD. Two year cycle minimum.

I did like Treyarch’s CoD back in 360 era, especially World at War. Felt raw.
People applied to and work at The Coalition to work on the Gears franchise primarily.

Treyarch’s CoD are usually FANTASTIC. I only consider BO4 and BO:CW to be exceptions only because BO4 was multiplayer only and Cold War was kind of thrown together after the first Sledgehammer kerfuffle in 2019,
Look I know we have a thread for this, but at least let me have this.
A new IP even it’s someone elses could be good for risk-taking and creativity for Coalition.
I mean look at what stepping away from KZ did for Guerrila.

No, we made a Gear thread for all the whining about the studio. They are already working with/helping on a lot of other projects. Their own mainline series is and will continue to be Gears.
