They wouldn’t have these concerns if they just moneyhated some big games. The ones they did they arnt marketing like crossfire.Sony didn’t have any first party the 2nd half of 21 but they weren’t dry. They had kena and deathloop. You just shouldnt have to wait 3 quarters to get first party games in 2022 when the competition is putting exclusives out at a steady pace. Now to counter that I will say if they if they continue to rock gamepass it does make up a lot in my mind. Look at January. It’s great. If they can keep that momentum every month for the first half they will be fine. If they can land dying light or Elden ring next month it won’t matter what comes out because that’s all that will matter. Just my opinion

Idk why saying game pass could use more day 1 big hitters that are AAA titles and not GaaS fodder like Outriders, Extraction or Anacrusis is list wars. Stalker 2 getting delayed has just left xbox with potentially nothing huge (barring a change in the games they add on GP historically) without anything big till presumably Redfall.

You act like they can know exactly when games will release when they cut the deals lol. Games get delayed in a heartbeat these days. You just can’t possibly have control of release dates untill you have so much content that is ready and you just space out how you see fit, that is still far from being a reality when we’re in a pandemic.

idk lads, I think I would rather have an Open wolrd 3rd person action adventure game out of crimson skies. The you’ll never feel like you are fully exploring the universe if all you can do is fly around. If they made a new game it would probably need to have some on foot gameplay.

Because this wasn’t about 3rd party game pass additions, it was about 1st party / maybe exclusive releases.

People are just saying they want highly rated content added to Gamepass too make up for big games that were supposed to be on gamepass at those times. It’s not console warring. It’s saying, “I paid for a service that was bringing constant new AAA content. Now it appears there will be gaps in that content. I want them to replace those gaps with other content to keep me engaged.”
