They could bring back XO and put it in a different place like march/april if they wanted
The problem with previous years is they kinda sucked and didnt have the content needed for a decent show, they should have that problem going forward
That being said, the more shows they have the more their content gets spread and the harder it is to have a great show, they are already at E3/Gamescom/TGS/TGA
I know we discuss practicalities, but I feel rather sad here.
That is why I was proposing that they could restructure for resilience and easier business interaction with either the IS or EU like how 4A did.
Restructuring and relocating are easier said than done.
Developers aren’t drones, they have ties to the land that bore them. Kids, family, loved ones, friends and communities - these can’t just be packed up or left behind, never mind for video games. I don’t know how appropriate it would be for MS to even broach the subject in acquisition talks.
You should probably forget about anything happening there. At most, it’ll be a XGSP deal, but even then, that would create a moral obligation for MS that I am certain they don’t want.

Why is this game only 3 months timed exclusive ? Can someone tell me the logic behind this decision ?

Still convicted that their aim (regarding the campaign) is to deliver a single DLC every year. Likely in late Q4. This might be the 1st.

Considering the seasons for multiplayer have been delayed along with coop/forge id say its unlikely theyll be able to pump them out that fast, especially if they are meaty expansions

Imagine a Fallout 5 with these kind of visuals, shiiiiiiieeeeeet.
If they can bring this game looking like that or close and in 60fps to XSX, damn. But I recall DF saying in their E3 video that the studio told them they are aiming for 4K/30fps with raytracing, but I cannot imagine they won’t have a mode without raytracing and in 60fps.

Any chance Hellblade II is surprise late 2022? Will they date it 2023?
I would at least expect we won’t see one in 2022, since the team was likely full hands on deck just to get the game shipped.
I think people are going to expect more variety than the game currently has when it comes to DLC
