looks amazing , and i think they said that this will be the longest halo campaign ever

I’m afraid to watch because of spoilers. Does it give alot away?

Most of the story stuff is stuff we’ve already seen in previous trailers

That theme is a banger

Okay, so I have 28.something gigs on Halo Infinite. Does this mean I have the campaign now as well?

Like there’s no other updates or anything?

There might be a 100GB day one patch…

The launch trailer for Halo Infinite looks great!! Another nine days (due to work for me) to go!! Can’t wait!!

I have 25.9 GB for Halo Infinite installed. And it doesn’t look like it had downloaded anything as of late. Am I missing something?

I been trying to figure it out

Think it unlikely but it would be cool of one of the things shown at the VGA’s is a CGI video(with maybe a cut in of ten or fifteen seconds of gameplay) from Id’s next game. As said, I don’t expect it but would be a great mic drop moment especially with the series/pc exclusive at the end

28 the whole game?

No. The pre-install doesn’t work but it says it is and there’s a 28GB download on the Game Pass app, on console nothing downloads for me

people keep saying that are not impressed with curent gen but i think that 2022 and especialy 2023 will change their minds

Impressed with what, graphics? Because yeah there are already amazing looking games but it doesn’t feel like a leap, just extra layers of visuals and more pristine looking visuals. Which is absolutely fine, graphics are already amazing as is.

I want to be impressed by game mechanics, design ideas, increased interactivity and dynamism of worlds (Physics and AI specifically), extreme seamlessness (I’d love to see an actual seamless experience. Not even a 1-2 second black loading screen anywhere, like even seamless fast travel somehow)

impressed with everything , consoles now have a strong cpu , way better than the jaguar and they can allow developers to create not just big but more dense worlds , with better AI and like you said increased interactivity

Design ideas isnt really a problem of going from one generation to another , good level design was achievable even last gen , dishonored , prey is proof of that , question is will enough players like that type of game in order for the developers to invest in it

These kind of games will come at the end of this gen .

if what is told about avowed we might see it sooner than we think , weather affecting enemies and enviornment , melting walls to find secret passages stuff like that

I mean every game has design ideas, it’s not just to do with level design. And if you bring Prey, on a basic level the SSDs and better memory tech would have helped the game be a seamless experience in going between sections, which I feel is something it really needed but was ‘held back’ by last gen storage speeds.

More compute power and speed are definitely going to influence how games are designed, that’s just natural for every generation, and it should even be more so now that storage and memory are very advanced compared to all past generations.
