Remember Little Big Planet…there’s your answer.
Did he really say this?
I guess my reading of the trailer has some semblance of being correct in that I read it as a hint of a more narrative focus than previous games.
BTW that Cloud Native Game by Mainframe can you only play it via Cloud gaming? what does a Cloud Native Game even mean?
That is a question that nobody here knows the answer to, unfortunately.
But it COULD mean that.
Cloud native games are like MSFS. Games augmented by cloud servers. As an MMO, it’s unlikely to be able to be played offline anyways.
Don’t think that is entirely true. Not sure on this source, but makes sense.

You can play MSFS offline though.
Great read.
I mentioned MSFS because MS calls that game Cloud Native but this seems on a whole other level of integration
Interesting, so Nick on the podcast said Killer Instinct is in development.
Wonder who they found to work on it.
Ngnl someone said that Power Rangers studio and I could see it.
Remember people throwing nWay around as an option (or maybe that was the fantasy acquisition thread)
It was both haha. Cant aquire them tho, they got bought in 2019
KI in active development?
Just acquire whoever acquired them, EZ
This is great news but remains to be seen. One game every year for the next seven years but starting when? 2023? I believe that one game every other year is much more realistic.
This makes me very happy if true. Was so disappointed with SOD 2 that I dropped it after 15 or so hours. Completed the original SOD in 2013 and really enjoyed it. SOD 3 needs to be AAA on every aspect to win me back. More narrative focus is definitely a step in doing that.
Give me Days Gone visuals and narrative with fluid and responsive SOD gameplay and the base building of SOD 2 and it will be great for me.
Maybe Im crazy but I felt SoD1 had a better overall narrative than the second game no? Second game is just hard to fall in love with in that aspect.
It’s pretty plausible actually. Grounded will probably fully release next year. Avowed is 2023 and then there’s TOW2 and Sawyer’s project for 2024 and 2025.
100% agree
