Xbox Game Studios |OT7| Killer News Here!?

Because the IP is still dormant and not many (new) xbox fans who are aware and know much about it. And i think it is safe to assume that Phil want to bring it back as one of the Xbox’s big IPs just like the old Halo/gears era. So mimicing the FH marketing might not be the best idea. I think showing and marketing the game 1-1.5 year before release (like starfield) seems plausible.

If Fable looks as good as everyone is expecting it to look and has the quality PG games are now known for, a big reveal and time like FH5 got at E3 is more than good enough, that will get everyone’s attention

But yea there’s nothing stopping them from showing a small trailer beforehand and then a big reveal a few months from release

well the thing is that is very risky to show a game like fable months before the release , if they would show a little more we could give some feedback on it and they have the time to fix it in 2 years , just look at halo how good it improved in the past year

playground games as good as they are RPG is an uncharted teritory for them , guerilla games had to deal with this and even if HZD was recieved pretty well by playstation fans the game is far from a good rpg , remember that fable fans expect a good RPG not an action adventure game

How exactly how are they years away… lol.

Hyperbole.

The time is now.

We’re literally 8 months away from fable, Avowed, Starfield etc being showcased.

I mean yeah I guess dreams are personal. They probably mean something like Sony’s E3 of dreams, games that so many people have been wanting for so many years. Xbox could have that in Banjo and Splinter Cell.

Devs dont show a game way before release, in this case years because of possibly needing feedback, Halo got pushed back because of severe backlash, assuming Fable will get the same is silly, especially when the vast majority of games, including other xbox games dont do this

Halo is the exception, not the rule

Awesome video! Really well made coverage about this masterpiece

Jez could be referring to anything there, really all I hope is that Xbox has a good presence there. Show something tangible one of or two games and I’m good really.

to be honest i kinda like how some developers launch with early acces , ive played alot of grounded and Baldurs gate 3 and early acces helped them alot because the feedback from the playes shaped the game into what it is today

in a game as huge as baldurs gate 3 ( probably the most complex rpg to date and by complex i mean that they have the features of a crpg and the storytelling of a cinematic action adventure game ur not getting bored reading walls of text you just look at the awsome cutscene and still they added alot of choice and consequence ) they still make changes acording to players feedback

Very cool!

But now I keep getting browser errors with that, shit.

They should save Fable for E3. Don’t reward the TGAs snubbing Playground.

Eh it’s not that big a deal. Xbox isn’t going to be petty because a couple of journalists didn’t want to reward a racing game.

they can show a 2-3 min gameplay trailer at TGA and full gameplay at e3 , even if they show Avowed , Redfall , Hellblade 2 and fable at TGA they will still have alot of things to show at E3 , thats how big xbox is this gen

That assumes if Fable will be released early 2023. I see it as a waste of time making 2 trailers each for next TGA and E3 while the game is at best as an early 2024/late 2023 game.

Xbox writers must love tweeting vague statements because a few words seems too rile up a few hundred people.

Who needs a few words when you have :eyes:

Hmm. I think Fable is an e3 2022 showing to be honest.

More likely we’ll see a gameplay trailer for Hellblade 2 and one from one of the smaller games they are slated for release next year. Other big ones that could show up include Redfall gameplay.

Redfall, Starfield, Motorsport, Pentiment, Grounded 1.0 release, Age of Mythology remastered (my guess) and Avowed might dominate 2022 E3. With a trailer for Deathloop again.

Next year the first set of Beth exclusives start landing.

I an not so sure HB2 or Fable will be there. But 2023 definitely. That is why there is a better chance that HB2 might be at TGAs than rhe e3 next year.

…I’d rather see Belfry than almost anything else.
