The Outer Worlds 2 doesn’t have to copy the way the first game was designed.
And it’s possible to have a “true open world game” on several planets.
Starfield will likely have multiple planets, I’m expecting TOW2 will have a similar structure to that game.

Obsidian wants to make 1 game per year for the next 7 years. Wow Obsidian is going to blow away even Insomniac Games when it comes to dropping games if this is true.
